What is wrong with IAX2 protocol? If IAX2 is so much better than SIP so why providers discontinuing support for IAX2 I was with provider "callwithus" but they discontinue IAX2 I switched to "checkbox.cc" but they discontinued it as well. What is wrong with IAX2? -- Joseph

We are in the process of preparing to move our Asterisk server to a Digital T1 interface card instead of a analog card (via an Adtran which is now connected to the T1). A short status update: Yesterday 3 of the 4 disk drives in the RAID array on the server that hosts voip-info.org failed. The coloprovider is currently working to replace the drives and I'm hoping that the site returns to service soon. Tomorrow is looking most likely.
