asterisk users - Mar 2005 - Cisco 7960 Protocol Invalid when Upgrading to 7.3

Cisco 7960 Upgrading from 6.x to 7.3 get Protocol Invalid.  I'm sure this
has been discussed but has anyone figured this out.
