Hy, I would want to give QoS a one wireless network. Do you know if exist any qdisc specific for this??. I know that the most modern qdisc is HFSC, is this true??. TC with bandwith adaptative for Wireless network
Hello, I would want interested in implemeting QoS for a wireless network, where we have variated services like: VOIP, ssh, ftp, www, mail, ftp ...etc Like we Know, this kind of network have high variation in bandwith of link. we want to introduce a form of adapting the parameter of qdisc that depends of bandwith, with this variances. In sumarize, an adaptative design with the bandwith of each

Pocket PC
Howdy, I recently obtained a Dell Axim X30, running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. It totally refuses to connect to a Samba share due to authentication errors. The share is set up with clear text passwords and functions perfectly with a Win98 SE box. I have tried encrypted passwords and nt status support = no in the global section of my smb.conf. I am running Debian unstable, Samba 3.0.7-1.

SPA-3000 Disconnect tone detection in Spain, Peru and Colombia ?
Hello everybody, I'm a new user of * and I just bought a Sipura SPA-3000 to make a home voip installation. I actually have a problem when a PSTN user calls and hangs up. The disconnect tone is not detected by the SPA, the the call continues and, for example, leaves an empty message on the voicemail before hanging up (because * hangs up). How could resolve this problem?. I set, Detect

How to priorize VoIP in a Wi-Fi scenario? Default qdisc in Linux, PRIO, HTB and HFSC ...
Hi all, Long email but please be patient :) I am part of EHAS [1], a non profit organization which main goal is to improve the Healthcare assistance in isolated rural areas in developing countries. Recently we have developed a long distance Wi-Fi network in Cuzco (Peru). This network provides connectivity to 12 nodes (they are in fact Health Centers). As VoIP is a essential service in this

coxreg vs coxph: time-dependent treatment
Dear List, After including cluster() option the coxreg (from eha package) produces results slightly different than that of coxph (from survival) in the following time-dependent treatment effect calculation (example is used just to make the point). Will appreciate any explaination / comment. cheers, Ehsan ############################ require(survival) require(eha) data(heart) # create weights

[RFC] [Windows SEH][-EHa] Support Hardware Exception Handling
As stated in the design paragraph, this design does not intend to model precise CFG at instruction level since it’s complicated and unnecessary. As long as we comply C and C++ rules listed below, we achieve -EHa semantic. There is NO need to precisely model HW exception control flow at instruction-level. Your example about memcpy() is just a bug in current implementation. I will fix it so that

Exceptions on Windows & MSVC
Hello everyone, I was wondering what is the status regarding exceptions for the windows-msvc target? The corresponding part of the documentation (llvm/decs/ExceptionHandling.rst) hasn't been updated since 2015, was there any progress since? This is most likely known, but there's significant divergence between the behavior of MSVC cl.exe and clang-cl.exe: Consider: void crash() {

[RFC] [Windows SEH][-EHa] Support Hardware Exception Handling
Hi, Eli, Why are you under the impression that threw_exception() will not be called if optimizations are enabled? I don’t know if the -EHa Spec is clearly described in MSFT Webs. At least this proposal has described the rules for both C & C++ code. The very first rule clearly said that “no exception can move in or out of _try region., i.e., no potential faulty instruction can be moved

[RFC] [Windows SEH][-EHa] Support Hardware Exception Handling
Hi, This is a spin-off of previous Windows SEH RFC below. This RFC only focus on supporting HW Exception Handling. A detailed implementation can be seen in here: https://github.com/tentzen/llvm-project/commit/8a2421c274b683051e456cbe12c177e3b934fb5e It passes all MSVC SEH suite (excluding those with “Jumping out of _finally” ( _Local_Unwind)). survreg vs. aftreg (eha) - the relationship between fitted coefficients?
Dear R-users, I need to use the aftreg function in package 'eha' to estimate failure times for left truncated survival data. Apparently, survreg still cannot fit such models. Both functions should be fitting the accelerated failure time (Weibull) model. However, as G?ran Brostr?m points out in the help file for aftreg, the parameterisation is different giving rise to different

[RFC] [Windows SEH] Local_Unwind (Jumping out of a _finally)
Hi, Per Reid’s feedback, I have separated two SEH missing features. This thread now is only focusing on _local_unwind(), Jumping out of _finally. The design is documented in Wiki here: https://github.com/tentzen/llvm-project/wiki/Windows-SEH:-Local_Unwind-(aka:-Jumping-Out-of-_Finally) The implementation can be seen here:

[RFC] [Windows SEH] Local_Unwind (Jumping out of a _finally) and -EHa (Hardware Exception Handling)
* When a goto in a _finally occurs, we must "unwind" to the target code, not just "jump" to target label I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. In the Microsoft ABI, goto out of a catch block also calls into the unwinder. We have to run any destructors, and return from the funclet (catchret/cleanupret). * The call inside a _try is an invoke with EH
