Guys. Ive been testing how to receive faxes using TDM400P cards and so far, after playing with gains, echocancell and echotraining on zapata.conf.. Ive ha dno luck, faxes come in as garbage or broken or with blank lines. Anybody has successfully done this? Any tips.. Also I have some ideas: 1. Is it really possible to get fxes on a fax machine using ATAs like the sipura 2002? Even using ulaw

Hi, I have a TDM400P (31B) in a PIV 2.8, 512Mb ram, CentOS 4.3, zaptel 1.2.5 and Asterisk 1.2.7.1 and a couple of standard analog phones with a flash button. Hello all We have tested for a mounth or two an asterisk PBX using one T1 channel bank with 24 fxs and one TDM400P digium card with 4 FXO modules. This worked with minor problems, the most notorious being some sporadic static noice or failure in the first FXO module on the wildcard. Hi all. I bought Digium's dev kit and a used IBM PL300 PC to try it out in. The X100P works fine, but with the TDM400P I get what I can best describe as 'interrupt noise'... noise whenever I type a key on the keyboard, or when something accesses the disk drive, uses cpu, etc. In my other PC it works fine, no noise and sounds great. But I cannot dedicate the other PC to it.

I recently plugged in Phone to my TDM400P Card to test out something I mostly use sip phones to interface with *. This may be commonly known but I haven't come across it so here goes, maybe it'll help someone: I have terrible echo with asterisk 1.2, zaptel 1.2.12, and a TDM400P with 1 FXS and two FXO modules. The Mark2 echo canceller with Aggressive turned on was the only setting that would make it acceptable. I found fxotune with this zaptel version to be broken. I pulled the latest fxotune.c
