Has anyone here had any experience with Mitel 5220 IP phones with Asterisk? Basic features are working good, but I'm looking for more advanced features like sending text to the display or having the lights on when an extension is in use via the hint subscription. Thanks.

The current firmware for the phone is 3.1.0.10, which you can download from http://sipdnld.mitel.com/ If you post your sip.conf file we can see if there's any errors. Have some 5220's that are MiNet only and I was wondering if anyone has ever reflashed it to MiNet/SIP. Tried to fake out the phone by redirecting it to a TFTP server with the SIP image, it loads it, freaks out, and reboots. tia
