Sangoma card A101 Card troubles.
Hiya all, I have had no end of trouble trying to get my A101 E1 card working on a new asterisk installation. The sangoma tech people have ignored my emails about this. All the installation of wanpipe seems to go ok, and zaptel. it all installed compiled and does all the wanpipe hwprobe exactly as documented. Asterisk compiled ok, but when I run it give me Jun 27 11:12:18 ERROR[10528]:

AW: DTMF detection when outgoing call to mobilephones
Yes I can hear the DTMF keys. I ve tried 2 different phones and 3 different mobile network providers. Nothing. I played with the rx/txgain values from hearing nothing to too loud... I have no more ideas. VarCorr function for assigning random effects: was Question
If you are indeed using lme and not lmer then the needed function is VarCorr(). However, 2 recommendations. First, this is a busy list and better emails subject headers get better attention. Second, I would recommend using lmer as it is much faster. However, VarCorr seems to be incompatible with lmer and I do not know of another function to work with lmer. Hence, a better email subject header

billsec and duration issue
Hi I am using Asterisk-1.6.1.6. Recently I had converted billsec and duration fields in my postgres 8.4 database from integer to numeric. I wanted to have better accuracy in calculating duration of the call. When the call is answered I can see better precision (for example 298.758421 sec), The problem is when the call is not answered (disposition is no answer) the duration is close to expected

billsec is set to duration if call is not answered
The behaviour of my Asterisk appears to have changed suddenly without any apparent cause. The version is use is 1.4.27.1 When a call is not answered billsec is set to duration, and calls are charged. I can't see any change I could have made to cause this problem. Is it something already known in Asterisk? /voipfc

CDR duration/billsec
Hello list, I'm having troubles implementing the ${CDR(duration)} & ${CDR(billsec)} variables in this scenario: PEER CALLS OUT -> CALL GOES TO PEER'S DEFAULT OUTGOING CONTEXT -> THE CALL IS SENT TO A MACRO AND GOES IN HANGUP -> THE CALL RETURNS TO EXTENSION h OF PEER'S DEFAULT OUTGOING CONTEXT (here I'm trying to print the variable)

billsec exceeds duration on some calls
Hi I'm having a problem with Asterisk 1.6.2.9 with the MySQL cdr addon. With some calls, the value in the `billsec` field in the CDR is exceeding the value in the `duration` field. I didn't think this was supposed to happen? Our old installation (some ancient version, sorry not available) always had `billsec` <= `duration`. The problem does not seem to be evenly distributed

I was just going through my call records ( stored in mysql database by cdr_MYSQL module ) and saw a record having duration = 0 and billsec of more than 50 seconds . I did a query on cdr where duration < billsec and saw that there were infact some 250 records with duration less than billsecond ( table had around 4,00,000 records) . Did anyone came across this ? I also checked csv files and they

question
Hi, I have a problem with R, after an update: this piece of code: cat("creating resolver data frame\n"); dfG<-cbind(dfG,2^(RGN$G)) dfR<-cbind(dfR,2^(RGN$R)) suddenly, creates values to inf. Is the syntax changed for the ^ symbol in the latest R downloadable version? Kind regards, wilfred -- Dr. Ir. Wilfred Van IJcken Labmanager Genomics Erasmus Center for Biomics,

Custom SIP-header not present in call Asterisk to Asterisk
Hello, I have a situation where a call comes in to my Asterisk server B. This call comes from another Asterisk server A. I want to tell to this server A why my server B hangs up. So just before hanging up, I add a custom SIP-header : exten => s,n,SIPAddHeader(X-My-Hangup: MaxChan) exten => s,n,Hangup() But I notice that this extra SIP-header is not send within the SIP-reponse :

Hi all, I am newbe here, please forgive me for asking something that might be obvious to everybody.
