Up2date Unknown GPG signatures
I just ran up2date on new Centos-3.1 installation and

Just installed fresh copy of 3.3 from isos. When I run "yum update" I am
getting an error when trying to install updates:
"Could not find GPG key necessary to validate....."
I am sure I have missed a posting on this issue but have not been able to
find it.
How do I get & load correct GPG key?
Thank you, Beth

Re: Alternative architecture CentOS 3 builds
Hey Nels,
I recently (within the last couple of days) updated
the FAQ with fresh, up-to-date information.
What achitectures are supported?
cAos x86 currently and x86_64 (AMD64) soon
CentOS-2 x86 only (sorry)
CentOS-3 x86 currently and x86_64 (AMD64) soon
Get it from the source here:
http://caosity.org/index.php?option=faq&task=viewfaq&artid=3&Itemid=5
I was told that AMD64

Data cleaning & Data preparation, what do R users want?
R has a very wide audience, clinical research, astronomy, psychology, and
so on and so on.
I would consider data analysis work to be three stages: data preparation,
statistical analysis, and producing the report.
This regards the process of getting the data ready for analysis and
reporting, sometimes called "data cleaning" or "data munging" or "data
wrangling".
So as

Problems with app_realtime
It seems that when setting qualify = 200 or qualify = yes in the database for
a sip friend/peer, RealTime does not update the registration status like it
should.
I also have several peers which have been offline and Asterisk still reports
them as registered, even though the registration seconds are only 200.

Preventing Asterisk from sending 'h' across to SIP Provider
Hi,
I want to prevent Asterisk from sending the h extension across to the SIP
provider or to prevent it from hitting the script at all. The SIP Provider
does not know what to do with the h extensions once it receives it. My SIP
Provider takes all digits and forwards them off to a softswitch for
processing. Everytime a call hangs up, it complains about running AGI scripts

Comet style requests with mongrel
Hi,
I''ve been doing some experiments with php and if can use something like
<?php
for ($i = 0; $i < 100; $i++) {
echo "hello world";
flush();
sleep(10);
}
?>
to keep a http link open for an arbitrary amount of time and
routinely display "hello world" in the browser window.
Is is possible to write a mongrel handler to do something similar?
Thanks

AT&T Researchers and the New York Times
Is anyone in the leadership of the R-project going to contact the New
York Times and clarify that the article gave remarkably short shrift
to the people who designed the user interface for R, to a large extent
AT&T researchers from an earlier generation? It would be the
appropriate thing to do.
The R team did not develop the user interface for R, the designers of

Asterisk Causing Cisco 7200 Router to Crash?
Hi,
We are having an issue here. It seems that whenever we initialize Asterisk
on our network, the router that the Asterisk server is connected to (Cisco
7200) crashes and loses it configuration. This has happended five times and
each time we have tested it, it is always when Asterisk starts up. Has anyone
else seen this problem? It is very odd because this is a very good router and

XSendFile in development environment
Hi
I''m currently trying to use X-Sendfile to take some load off my rails
app, unfortunately in my development environment mongrel is happily
passing through the x-sendfile header, presumably for the (non-
existant) proxy to handle the header.
Is there some way to make mongrel process the x-sendfile header itself?
Thanks

gui wrapper for ssh -X
Hi,
I've been attempting to write a gui wrapper to launch
ssh -X user at machine application
I'm trying to launch ssh and connect to it with pipes so that my front
end can enter the password if required (either from a cache or by
popping up a dialogue box).
I've been having problems with pipes though reading from ssh's stdout,
for when it asks for the password. Before I go

How would you program an Adverse Events statistical table using R code?
A graph != A table.
I'm talking about a page full of summary statistics and advanced
statistics, with lots of cross categories on the top and left margin
of the table, as opposed to a visual display with x-axis and y-axis,
which is totally different.
(An example of how this is done in another language is available at

For an AE table, you have an N and %

Clinical Trial data sets in public domain?
Is anybody using R to do analysis of clinical trial datasets that have been
put in the public domain (which are super hard to find). Not only a single
data table, but the actual database, with a handful of data tables with
one-to-one or many-to-one relationships?
[ For example, "Adverse Events" and "Patient Info" are two datasets with a
many-to-one relationship, the
