Gnudialer
Hi there! Is there anyone out there using gnudialer? I tried vicidial but couldn't get it to work (does vicidial support SIP trunks anyways?). Gnudialer seems to be simpler, though their web interface needs a little work (version 2.0seems like a step in the right direction but it isn't out yet). How do you register an agent? The documentation is lacking... Jesus Mogollon

Help with Congestion error
I am using Asterisk with Connect.VoicePulse. Of late, we are getting too many congestion errors. Chris Icide has helped me before in setting up the server. He has done a wonderful job. It has worked very well until about 2 months ago. Now I need some help to fix this issue. I appreciate the help. Sincerely, Naren Koka (480) 829-0479

Call Center and Predictive dialing
I know this question has been asked a lot before, but please I would like to know from personal experience. I'm looking to use Asterisk in a call center environment, where most of the calls will be outbound calls. They will have at start 100 agents. I have looked at vicidial and looks promising, however I would like to hear from users what they use and how they like it compared to other

Call Center: scripting for call routing, reporting, login and logout, CTI
Hi All; I would like to use Asterisk for a call center, but really does not know if Asterisk support the following in a good way: 1) Ability to do an inteligent routing, so to route the call to the proper skill group based on the caller information? 2) If I can create skill groups and then the agent will login to this skill group. 3) What about reporting to check the call center performance?

Voicebroadcasting with Asterisk?
Hello! I was curious to know if anyone out there had used Asterisk for voice broadcasting. We have a proprietary dialer that can do it, and we are using Global Connect - www.gc1.com <http://www.gc1.com/> - for some voice broadcasting campaigns. However I'd like to see if I could use Asterisk, possibly with Vicidial or gnuDialer, to do voice broadcasting. Essentially I'd have

World Most Economical Predictive Dialer!
Hi Tilghman! > Clearly, you missed the point. Since there is a FREE predictive dialer out > there, and your product costs something, you are not the world's cheapest > predictive dialer. I respect your wording and the way you or other people think on the list about difference between cheapest and free predictive dialer. Surely

Asterisk & GNUDialer issue
Hello everybody, I'm installing an Asterisk 1.2.7.1 with GNUDialer 0.98-puff18. It also has zaptel from CVS. My FXO is an X100P Clone. The agents from GNUDialer log ok, and everything is fine until the GNUDialer makes a call, as soon as it engages (the phone starts to ring) asterisk crashes with these messages: > Channel Zap/1-1 was answered. -- Executing

asterisk with an external predictive dialer
Does anyone have any experience using asterisk with an external predicitve dialer, like MediaTel? Specifically: The predictive dialer dials out over T1 circuits. It connects to asterisk via amphenol cable from an fxs card in the dialer to asterisk with a tdm2406 fxo card. In the analog world, the dialer dials out through the t1 circuit, and the fxs card is plugged into a 66 block so the

Question about voip.ms service.
Hey; I figured I would ask here as I seem to get better results. I am using the voip.ms <http://voip.ms/> VoIP service. I have no problem configuring my Asterisk server 1.8x to dial out with my Softphone. HOWEVER, for some reason, I cannot get inbound. All that I hear is a busy signal. I know this is not much for you folks to go on, but what would be a good place to start

Solution for 1 time blast of 200, 000 recorded calls
Hi, I'm helping out with a political campaign and would like to use asterisk to blast out about 200,000 calls with a short message from the candidate. Provider: I'm thinking voipjet may be a good solution? Hardware setup: I will have access to several T-1 lines so I would just want to set up the dialers to limit the number of concurrent calls and so forth. I found teleyapper on

Shaping incoming VoIP traffic fails
Hello, I''m trying to get lossless VoIP traffic over my 3000k/500k ADSL line. Shaping outgoing traffic is no problem: I set total ceil for outgiong device (ppp0) to 450kbit and put VoIP into highest prio class. Even during full upload the voice is clean on the other end. Now I tried to get the same result for incoming data. I attached HTB to eth1 where the incoming voip traffic is

Remote Call Center Agents and Asterisk?
Anyone using Asterisk in a Call Center environment? And more importantly is anyone supporting home based remote call center agents with an Asterisk backend? My experience with Asterisk is limited, however I have set it up and installed it previously and had it working for home usage and for simply playing around. My background however is with Cisco CallManager, Cisco IPCCX for call centers as
