how to check if ztdummy is working properly?
Kernel is 2.6. zaptel and ztdummy load with Linux, so I can check in
lsmod that they are loaded. They load without any problem, I've loaded
them manually too.

PRI Presentation Restricted bit honored?
Hi. I'm wondering if it is possible to make asterisk honor the
Presentation Restricted bit on incoming PRI calls.
Ideally I'd still like to see the number in the CDR but we can't let
users hear restricted numbers in their voicemail messages, etc.
The docs only seem to talk about outgoing calls.
Thanks...

Tools for Remote Monitoring and User Management
Hi all,
What are the best and free tools for remotely adding, removing users on
Asterisk server and also for monitoring the status of the Asterisk
server, like how many users are logged on etc. I need tools for which I
don't have to pay.
Thanks,

Extension 's' in Realtime
Hi All,
I was able to insert some extensions in Mysql DB and use them successfully. In
Mysql extensions table the priority column is of type tinyint and when I give
's' value for it, it is not accepting that value as it takes only tinyints.
Please tell how can I make that column accept values like t,s,i and make it
work with asterisk in realtime without any problem? If I change the type

modprobe Ztdummy is not working
Hi,
I've install zaptel and I don't have a Digium card installed in the machine.
So I want to install ztdummy to have Music On Hold working. I've follow
these instruction http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+timer+ztdummy and
at the point "modprobe ztdummy" it's failing. I'm getting these messages:

Hi all,
Trying to build ztdummy on an old redhat 7.3 box running kernel

I set them up with make oldconfig; make dep.
The build error is:

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really
enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a
bit of trouble implementing this thing :).
By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google
extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem,
... The fix suggested on those sites,

ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone,
I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I
need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot
seem to find an answer for.
I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box.
I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the
instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel.
Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy

ztdummy on Fedora Core 2
I followed the Wiki instructions to get zaptel to work on Fedora core 2.
It looked like everything went perfect including the loading of ztdummy.
However, I am having meetme and MOH problems synonymous with ztdummy not
loading. Take a look at my lsmod...Any ideas? (I am running stable

ztdummy
The USB core was completely rewritten in 2.6, and as such the functions
that ztdummy depends on do
not exist in 2.6. I get the feeling that these changes are too much to
easily fix ztdummy, so I don't
expect to see it working on 2.6 any time soon (if ever)
I made some small changes to zaprtc to work on 2.6 and I have MoH and
Meetme functions working
fine in my lab. For production I would

Any thoughts on the following?
I am running asterisk from CVS (downloaded yesterday's
version, just to be sure) on a test system with no
digium cards in it, so I have installed ztdummy (see
logs and screenshots below) as a timing source.

ztdummy and Linux 2.6.13-rc7
Anybody having issues with ztdummy under the current 2.6 RC7? I get the
following errors when trying to modprobe ztdummy:
"Unable to register zaptel rtc driver"
Doing a Google on the error shows reference to a message from 2004 that
said you might not have RTC compiled into the kernel. Checking via:
cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.13-rc7
grep -i rtc .config
shows:
