Asterisk 3rd party developed commercial software sales licensing platform
I think it's time to 'ping' John Todd and Digium on this topic again. What happened Digium? Why did you say you were going to take this project on but have not come back to the community with an answer yet? 3rd party app store
I recently came across this email that I wrote in May 2008 ...... ?http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-May/210887.html It's such a shame that Digium manhandled the project away from the community only to then bury it and not allow it to proceed. I really wonder when I look at the Apple iphone development community as to where the 3rd party Asterisk development community

News to me. Probably worth considering when choosing your deployment options. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/12/09/salesforce_why_buy_heroku/print.html Dreamforce 2010 Why would a company that spent 10 years delivering CRM as a service drop $212m in cash and $27m in stock on a 30-person startup that hosts Ruby on Rails apps for devs on Amazon? [VOIP-Users-Conference] Potential subject for Friday - Does the Asterisk community need a 3rd party commercial software ecosystem?
Hi BJ, Further explanation about the 3rd party ecosystem question this morning Cory Andrews from VoIP supply was on the Voip-Users conference call last week. I asked the question - how much of VoIP Supply revenue is product versus applications - he said we don't sell any services such as ITSP hosted Asterisk so I replied that wasn't what I was thinking of and gave the example of Snap

Setting up omniauth with salesforce login in rails 2.3.8( ruby 1.8.6)
Hi, We have a production rails app running on ruby 1.8.6 with rails version 2.3.8. We are thinking about setting up omniauth to allow users login through salesforce. But the omaniauth ldap dependency inturn depends on ruby 1.8.7. Is there any way we can setup ominauth without ldap dependency to work on ruby 1.8.6? -- Azhagu Selvan SP -- You received this message because you are subscribed

don't have a public facing web page but you are looking for people to click on but a personalized list of numbers. In order for someone to access this directory you are going to be asking for a username/password correct? If so just tie the username to a selection of 'my location' checkboxes that I tick and then the app remembers this location next time I log in (eg server side

BUG? 'valid users' doesn't allow groups from trusted domains
It appears that you cannot include groups from trusted domains in the 'valid users =' directive on a share. Here is the scenario as I experienced it (names have been changed to protect the innocent): Configuration: - Samba 3.0.21b as a member server in a real NT4 domain (security = domain) called 'NTDOMAIN' - NTDOMAIN has a two-way trust with Windows 2003 Active Directory

display, accelerometer/motion sensor being the first 4 for release (though 81 have been mocked up so far). The long term concept is if you want a 'weather station with live video feeds and gps location control you can add various modules together to deliver what you are looking to achieve. I have high hopes for the concepts, and wish the guys well as it seems their hearts are in the right
