similar to: fax detect DID variable

Hi, I want to try detecting if a call is a fax from Zap/1 channel and if it is, forward it to a fax number. How to do it? I have iaxmodem and Hylax working, but it can only receive, but not redirect the fax call. Also, I have read that Asteris has a tool call rxFax. Could someone help me to understanding the difference in terms of functionality between rxfax and hyfax? Which one is better?

I am testing out hylafax and iaxmodem. Submitting jobs to the hylafax server and having it then dial using iaxmodem is working fine. Hylafax server is talking to my Asterisk box that has a Sangoma A101 in it via iaxmodem via an IAX channel using ulaw. A call coming into a certain test DID comes into the Sangoma A101 then it goes to another box via IAX ulaw that uses the rxfax app to

I just looking about SpanDSP, Hylafax/Iaxmodem, AsterFax,...etc. The asterisk box has Digium hardware, one TE420B and one TDM2402 (8 FXO ports). I just read the SpanDSP (txfax and rxfax) makes the system more unstable that Hylafax/Iaxmodem. And the Asterfax solution does dislike cause its licensing. The TE420B, is configured in E1
