Hello I'm about to order a GrandStream GXP-2000 and a Linksys SPA-921 I'd like to have some user feedback about how those phones perform, and whether their LCD screen displays both the caller ID name and number (The GrandStream BT-100 only displays numbers, which isn't very helpful). Thank you.

Hi. I am thinking about building an asterisk system for a small business and want to be able to page through the phones. It seems like to do this asterisk needs auto-answer support in the phone. I know the SPA-841's support this, as do Cisco phones, but I have been unable to determine if the new Cisco/Linksys SPA-941's do. Does anyone here have experience with trying to use auto-answer

I'm trying to disable call waiting for Linksys SPA-941, but unfortunately as far as I have seen, there are no parameters on the web interface regarding this feature. I just want callers to hear the busy tone when the called party is at the phone. Probably I can accomplish this by using the "disable call waiting" in asterisk as well, but I have not been able to find any

Hallo! I had ordered a Sipura SPA-3000 in the UK, but the supplier turned out to be unreliable and never shipped. Yesterday I went looking for alternative suppliers and found the Linksys SPA3000 device. It's a different box, but the specs look very similar. Is this the same device? I have a linksys SPA 3102 with a DECT phone connected into its Telephone port. It has been working, but something I've done (and I don't know what) means that now everytime asterisk tries to dial it, it says it is busy. Hi people, I'm having problems of connection with a Linksys SPA IP PHONE 942 when I use the WAN port, most of the time when I try to connect to the network or restart the IP Phone I can't get internet connectivity . I tried using both static IP and DHCP, but the problem is the same. Some have had similar problem with this brand of IP Phone? Thanks for the help and attention. Hugs

Anyone else have problems with phones like SPA-922, SPA-921, etc? Inbound audio is perfect but the remote end reports audio quality issues on the audio the handset is sending out. It's not the network.... I've tried asterisk 1.2, 1.4. I've used ulaw, G726, G793 & G729. Ulaw seems to be the least problematic but its still an issue. Doesn't matter if we send the calls to the PSTN
