TE406P audio drops
Hello,
Now that we've had our new Digium TE406P card in production for 4 days we
have discovered audio drop problems that happen randomly across all
channels. Here's more about our setup:

Slackware Linux 10.1 with custom kernel 2.4.29
Asterisk 1.2beta1

Stability and motherboard questions with TE406P and TE410P
I am having a problem with asterisk not being stable enough for production
use. I have two cards, the digium TE406P, and the TE410P. The TE410P is
the primary card that I am using but I would like to move to the TE406P for
the echo cancellation and more flexibility of PCI slots available.
General config info:
3 PRIs, configured as such:

span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs

TE406P seg fault on Stable
I received a TE406P card from Digium yesterday and have done several tests
on it and cannot get it working reliably with any Stable release or even CVS
v1.0.
What are other people that are using the TE406P card using for an Asterisk
version?
I tried 1.2.0 beta1 and it seemed to function well except for an unrelated
issue with the beta release where the manager interface chokes under

success story: TE406P (quadspan with hardware echocan)
I just wanted to post here and let everyone know that the TE406P (quadspan
T1/E1 with hardware echo can) kicks some serious ass.
We've been running a PRI now for over a year with Asterisk (every single call
in and out is through two Asterisk boxes, including faxes) and while the
software based echo cancellation is more than adequate, we'd get the
occassional "edgy" echo and

TE406P - MFC/R2
Guys,
I'm trying to configure a TE406P with MFC/R2.
here goes my zaptel.conf:

fax detection on TE406P
Hi all,
I am having problems detecting fax on a client site using the TE406P
(card with echo cancellation module) under 1.2 and was wondering if
anybody was having or has had similar problems?
Currently I can not get the system to detect fax for love nor money,
in zapata.conf the relevant entries are set to:
faxdetect=outgoing
and I have a fax extension in the necessary context.
I have taken

PRI echo
Hi,
My configuration is pri----*(te405p)---iaxclient.
My * version is 1.0.7 running on tyan dual opteron
board.
I have several problems.
1) inbound echo
For outbound call(iaxclient-->pri), there is almost no
echo. But for inbound(pri-->iaxclient), I can hear
distinct echo. Can Sangoma a104 or digium te406p help
this problem?
2)Today i received te406p. I know T1/E1 jumper. But

TE411P and TE406P stability
I am getting ready to purchase my first Digium card to start experimenting with Asterisk. Before I make my purchase, I wanted to make sure I'm not going to have issues with these cards (need to see what the specs are on my box, 5V or 3.3V PCI ). I will be using Asterisk @ Home, so will be Asterisk v1.0.9. I took a quick poke at the lists, and it appears several people have been having

Latency on bridged PRI calls
Nobody has been able to answer this. Not even Digium at this stage, but I'm
hoping someone here, smarter than I, will be able to.
We are running some TE406P (upgraded 405Ps) cards performing mainly PRI bridged
calls.
After a server is brought up, calls sound absolutely perfect.
Over time, delay (latency) creeps into the calls. What is really weird about
that is apparently with the new

Solved: Unable to load module for TE406P
It works out that name "Unified t4xxp/t2xxp driver" is not accepted
anymore by 2.6.13 kernel.
Need to remove "/" for it to load properly

Unable to load module for TE406P
Hi,
I'm unable to load wct4xxp module for TE406P card.
I've compiled 2.6.13-rc6, got latest CVS (as of today) of zaptel, but
when I try to load the module I get this:

VOIP PRI Gateways
I was hoping someone might have some knowledge to impart regarding
VOIP PRI Gateways or the psudo ISDN services being offered these days.
The official line in Australia is that "true" ISDN services are on
their way out.
I am testing a service provided by one of the telcos I am told that it
cannot provide ISDN cause codes for disconnected/invalid numbers and
all we get is the audio. Also

Interfacing pri card to legacy pbx
Hi guys,
Can I use a Sangoma a101 to interface a legacy pbx to an Asterisk server?
The pbx doesn't have sip and I want to come in off of a sip trunk and
interface with the older system.
I know I can use a pri card to hook in to the phone network, but can I use
this same card to feed back the signaling as if I were the phone company to
the older system?
Thanks,
Tom

HP OfficeJet 6110, Sipura 2102, T.38, and Clarent
I have a Sipura 2102 that I'm trying to do T.38 with a Clarent C5CM. I
figured skipping the Asterisk server and going right to the Clarent would be
best as T.38 is new in Asterisk. However, I can't get the Sipura to link up
with the Clarent. Sipura support is less than responsive.
Note: I set myself up as a Linksys Partner, and have spent hour(s) on the
phone with them, but it

Connecting a PSTN gateway to Asterisk using PRI
Hi
I have a system (S) that has a PSTN gateway to accept incoming calls and
setup outgoing calls from/to Telco network. In the other hand I have a
distant Asterisk box (A) that I would like to connect to (S) using the PRI
interface.
I understand that the proper way is to order to my Telco two PRI lines one
for (S) and another for (A), and configure (S) and (A) to call each other
numbers when
