Klicking sounds in background
Hello, I have an IVR with Intel HMP SIP stack, which is a peer behind my Asterisk box (Asterisk 1.0.7, Digium PRI). When dialing in via PSTN, there are klicking sounds in the background, which do not appear, when dialing in via SIP (using Asterisk as pbx). The issue does not seem to be an alaw/?law problem. I tried trunking two Asterisk boxes via IAX and then call via two asterisks, but the

asterisk SIP, SIPAddHeader() and Cisco GED-125
Greetings: I'm in the situation where I'm trying to splash information picked off by an asterisk IVR into a Cisco call center environment. I'm under the impression that the ONLY way to do this is to setup socket connections with the Cisco "voice processor", or CVP, and send packets corresponding to GED-125. Cisco has a detailed 100+-page document detailing the internals of

imapc_port not working
imap proxy is a "dumb proxy", it will just pass everything to google & back after you've authenticated. imapc allows you to use imap sieve to some extent. I'm not sure what kind of Sieve manipulations you have in mind. Aki > On 27/10/2020 11:42 David Tildesley <davotnz at yahoo.co.nz> wrote: > > > Hi Aki, > > Thanks. I didn't know that about

ACD and/or CTI components for Asterisk
Is there is an open source ACD component for Asterisk? Likewise, is there an open source CTI component that will work with Asterisk? Intel Bluetooth problems - "Invalid request code (56)" - on CentOS 6.9
Hi, I have Lenovo laptop with an Intel wireless and Bluetooth adapter, running CentOS 6.9. The wireless works just fine, but I can't seem to get Bluetooth to work. When I try to force it up from the command line I get # hciconfig hci0 up Can't init device hci0: Invalid request code (56) There is also a similar message message in /var/log/messages from start-up on boot. The device

USB blues
I have a freshly built, updated EL6 system and am having problems with USB stability - at boot everything works fine but within a few hours, USB devices start disappearing randomly. At first I though the USB devices were suspect, but removing the suspect devices and an accessory PCIE USB card hasn't changed anything. As of now, a single USB device is working. (which is lucky, it hosts the

Mssql Multiple Database Access Error

imapc_port not working
You know that imapc != imap proxy. imapc is a thin client, which is a "mail storage provider" like maildir. imap proxy is when you proxy the connection somewhere. this is done with proxy_ settings in passdb. You need to specify ssl_client_ca_dir = /etc/ssl/certs to get cert verification working with imapc. it's required. Aki > On 27/10/2020 10:54 David Tildesley <davotnz

Live Communication Server and Asterisk
Has anyone have interfaced this successfully? I came to know from M$ that Genesys GETS can be used to interface asterisk. I have interfaced Cisco call manager to asterisk/ser but for my final setup I would like to have a LCS talking to a CCM, without having the Genesys GETS is I don't have to. Has anyone been playing around with this? If so I would really like to hear some advise.

Play an announcement to the CALLING party
Hi folks, how could I play an announcement to the calling party as soon, as the called party picked up. I would like to deploy an asterisk in an environment, where a premium rate support-number is offered to customers which do not want to pay a monthly support contract. In Germany, you are commited by law to announce the cost per minute of a premium rate number at the beginning of the call. So,
