Plantronics and Snom RF feedback
Hey all, after hooking up some Plantronics to some Snom's (3 320's 1 360), I noticed my client is having some form of feed back on the phone. Because of Snom's "inner oddities" this is how I got it to work. Plantronic --> RJ11 --> SnomHandset Port (on Snom Base) Handset --> Plantronic jack (bottom base in the front) If I placed Plantronic(RJ11) --> Snom's

Intel HDA with Plantronics USB
I have a system that is using Intel HDA as its output, and a Plantronics USB headset as the microphone input. I would like to have my wine configuration emulate this setup, I currently have been unable to confirm that it isnt... I just cant get Steam to choose the plantronics headset as the default voice device (this is the goal). Would appreciate any insight!

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016

Polycom 601 + Headset
Hi List, I am using a Plantronics CS50 head set with my Polycom 601. I use the button on it to pick up calls. Is there any way to have the phone set up that if I pick up with the button on the headset that it sends the call to the headset and that I don't have to press the headset button on the phone every time ? Thanks. Dovid -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Headset Recommendation
Does anyone have a recommendation for a headset that plugs into the Mic/Line-out port on a PC? Ideally something like the Plantronics SupraPlus. I'd prefer Monaural instead of stereo, and cheap in price but not in quality. Thanks for any suggestions... I've had pretty good luck with the basic models of Plantronics headsets. They tend to be well made. Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi, You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me fits! I followed the instructions at http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga. headsets for linksys/sipura phones?
I was just browsing my local suppliers list of headsets - not a single one with a single 2.5mm jack. Either USB or 1-2 3.5mm jacks. Can anyone recommend a headset that works with e.g. SPA-921 and -941? /Per Jessen, Z?rich

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I am able to pickup, hangup, and flash, using the buttons on the phone with all of the soft clients and both of the headsets I mentioned below. I don't believe I had to change anything on the client side, just had to get the ctp (cordless telephone profile) working in the bluetooth stack, which was a pita. I struggled with the same issue...I could use the headset, but that's not very handy

Headsets for Cisco 7940/7960
What headsets have people found work well with the Cisco 7940 and 7960 phones? To date, I have tried a couple of the headsets within the Plantronics H series (H41-N), and noticed that the volume of my speaking is lower over the headset than on the regular handset. I am currently looking for headsets that are known to work well. I do know that Cisco lists the H-91 and H-101 as certified to

Sipura 841 and headset
Hi folks ! I bought two sipura 841 phones. I used to have GN Netcom headset which I connect instead of the handset. The problem is that I don't have any sound coming out the headset and I can't speak neither ! I'am located in France and I was wondering if the cabling in the sipura and in the headset is the same (I mean the order of the cables) or maybe is there something else to

Mobile phone codecs ...
Not strictly asterisk related, however... Here's an odd one for you.. I got a Nokia E90 and setup it's SIP client which runs via Wi-Fi (anyone know if I can make it work via GPRS/3G?) Anyway, in a fit of idleness, I thought I'd see what codecs it supports, as I couldn't find it in the manual... And it supports: ilbc g729 ulaw/alaw No GSM! How odd is that, given
