ztdummy
The USB core was completely rewritten in 2.6, and as such the functions that ztdummy depends on do not exist in 2.6. I get the feeling that these changes are too much to easily fix ztdummy, so I don't expect to see it working on 2.6 any time soon (if ever) I made some small changes to zaprtc to work on 2.6 and I have MoH and Meetme functions working fine in my lab. For production I would

Need help implementing call center featuresofAsterisk
It sounds like Naren and company has their own CRM application. They need a predictive dialer that allows third party app integration. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com]On Behalf Of Matt Florell Sent: Monday, March 13, 2006 8:03 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re:

Call Center: scripting for call routing, reporting, login and logout, CTI
Hi All; I would like to use Asterisk for a call center, but really does not know if Asterisk support the following in a good way: 1) Ability to do an inteligent routing, so to route the call to the proper skill group based on the caller information? 2) If I can create skill groups and then the agent will login to this skill group. 3) What about reporting to check the call center performance?

What kind of call center: inbound, outbound or both? how many lines per agent will you have? what kind of trunks will you be using? do you need to tie into an existing database? do you want screen-pops? asterisk queue cluster
I setup two asterisk servers with identical settings (same extensions, same queues, etc). Each one is connected to the same amount of incoming/outgoing links (1 PRI, 4 BRI, 1 IAX friend, etc, on each box). Most extensions are sip and they register via DNS SRV and other methods so that the two servers are load balanced. Incoming PSTN calls (BRI) reach 50% each server so that's load balanced

Is Asterisk really good??
So this is just a general question, Is Asterisk really good? Reliability? Functionality? Customization's? I am coming from a Nortel world, were you pay for everything, and you can't delve into the software. But it seems that customization would be a great thing. Like, setting up a war-dialer to customer lists, incoming/outgoing faxes (that's possible with Asterisk, right?) and

autodialed call forwarding via meetme or queue (was predictive dialer)
Also posting this question to people working on manager interface and dialers. I have a simple auto dialing script (using Originate) that forwards all incoming calls to a queue full of waiting agents instead of a meetme conference room. I use queues rather than meetme so I can leave the automatic call distribution to the queue itself. The problem is when the calls reach the agents, some of the

Gnudialer
Hi there! Is there anyone out there using gnudialer? I tried vicidial but couldn't get it to work (does vicidial support SIP trunks anyways?). Gnudialer seems to be simpler, though their web interface needs a little work (version 2.0seems like a step in the right direction but it isn't out yet). How do you register an agent? The documentation is lacking... Jesus Mogollon

asterisk with an external predictive dialer
Does anyone have any experience using asterisk with an external predicitve dialer, like MediaTel? Specifically: The predictive dialer dials out over T1 circuits. It connects to asterisk via amphenol cable from an fxs card in the dialer to asterisk with a tdm2406 fxo card. In the analog world, the dialer dials out through the t1 circuit, and the fxs card is plugged into a 66 block so the
