I've tried to install midnight commander on centos3.1 final. No luck in installing it via yum install. When I download src.rpm from centos2 updates SRPMS I couldn't rebuild it. RPM --rebuild mc*.src.rpm didn't work (no rebuild option). What can I do then ? Best Regards Cooba

Has anyone gotten lm_sensors to work on a CentOS3.3/RHEL3 box? I think I'm having CPU temperature-related problems, and wanted some way to monitor it. I believe lm_sensors does this, but can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. Hello, I am in process of setting up an IMAP server (with postfix SMTP), I installed RHEL 5.5 on my server and found that version of dovecot is 1.x.x while when I checked online RHEL 6 is version is 2.x.x. Can someone please tell me if these two versions are still in development or 1.x.x is very old and must be replaced by 2.x.x version? Also are there any special features in 2.x.x or 1.x.x

I want to upgrade my samba installation from 3.0.9-1.3E.3 to 3.0.20 without breaking anything along the way :) Any suggestions about order of installation? Hi folks, according to several findings on the web I tried to find postfix-2.6.5 in centosplus adding this to my /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo: [base] exclude=postfix [centosplus] includepkgs=postfix in the right places. But when I "yum remove" and "yum install" postfix then, it's "only" 2.3.3-2.1 with added mysql/pqsql support.
