Out of the woodwork
Greetings Everyone,
I finally got around to downloading and installing CentOS 3.1. Performed
flawlessly :)
Any of my whitebox friends still around here?
I've been extremely busy with work as of late....I'm still considering getting
involved with CentOS.

[OT] CentOS web form troubles
It looks as if the "Contact Us" form for sending comments to the CentOS
webmasters (http://www.centos.org/modules/contact/) is trying to send
mail to donavan at mail.centos.org, which apparently gets forward to an
account @4wx.net. The mail server for that domain is having a hard time
communicating with mail.centos.org.
Is there anyone on this list who can confirm, deny, or report

include a file ?
ok, I've got yet another newbie question.
My extensions.conf is getting rather longish and I'm getting dizzy
moving back and forth editing this thing. Can I use the include command
to include a file in order to break extensions.conf up into more
manageable pieces ? Is breaking up the extension.conf file an OK thing
to do ?
Maybe something like this:

Identifying US holidays
Hello!
I am trying to identify which ones of a vector of dates are US
holidays. And, ideally, which is which. And I do not know (a-priori)
which dates those should be.
I have, for example:
x<-seq(as.Date("2011-01-01"),as.Date("2011-12-31"),by="day")
(x)
I think chron should help me here - but maybe I am not using it properly:
library(chron)

Merry Christmas, all Asterisk users!
It's the day before Christmas here in Sweden, actually the night before at this time...
We celebrate Xmas on the 24th, so I'm about to log off and switch my Asterisk into
"merry-christmas-mode" with the yet undocumented CLI command "frosty-mode on", a mode
where the PBX will connect all incoming extensions to the "ho-ho-ho" sound file and then randomly

call queue help
Guys I am having some serious issues with my call queue and Management
is breathing down my neck pretty bad, and I am running out of ideas.
I have a single queue for my tech support department. I originally was
using the AgentCallbackLogin for them and it tested out great on our
testing weekends, but it hasn't worked out since. It would only let one
of them take calls at a time, no matter

Contact for web site problems?
I cannot seem to find a contact email for 'webmaster' or similar position.
I would like to report a broken link on your site.
On the page: http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/SambaIntro.html
The 'story' link on the line "The story goes something like this: " is broken. Click on it and you get 'forbidden.'
Keep up the GREAT work!

UK Rates for RoR Contract work?
Hi all,
I''ve been offered a short-term contract here in the North of England -
around 3 months work, but with RoR I think it will take considerably
less time - and am just curious what market rates were right now.
I''ve been offered a little under ?1k/week which seems ''right'' for a PHP
coder doing this kind of work, but should I be hitting for more, or is
