Stability and motherboard questions with TE406P and TE410P
I am having a problem with asterisk not being stable enough for production use. I have two cards, the digium TE406P, and the TE410P. The TE410P is the primary card that I am using but I would like to move to the TE406P for the echo cancellation and more flexibility of PCI slots available. General config info: 3 PRIs, configured as such: span=1,2,0,esf,b8zs span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs

TE411P and TE406P stability
I am getting ready to purchase my first Digium card to start experimenting with Asterisk. Before I make my purchase, I wanted to make sure I'm not going to have issues with these cards (need to see what the specs are on my box, 5V or 3.3V PCI ). I will be using Asterisk @ Home, so will be Asterisk v1.0.9. I took a quick poke at the lists, and it appears several people have been having

success story: TE406P (quadspan with hardware echocan)
I just wanted to post here and let everyone know that the TE406P (quadspan T1/E1 with hardware echo can) kicks some serious ass. We've been running a PRI now for over a year with Asterisk (every single call in and out is through two Asterisk boxes, including faxes) and while the software based echo cancellation is more than adequate, we'd get the occassional "edgy" echo and

fax detection on TE406P
Hi all, I am having problems detecting fax on a client site using the TE406P (card with echo cancellation module) under 1.2 and was wondering if anybody was having or has had similar problems? Currently I can not get the system to detect fax for love nor money, in zapata.conf the relevant entries are set to: faxdetect=outgoing and I have a fax extension in the necessary context. I have taken

Latency on bridged PRI calls
Nobody has been able to answer this. Not even Digium at this stage, but I'm hoping someone here, smarter than I, will be able to. We are running some TE406P (upgraded 405Ps) cards performing mainly PRI bridged calls. After a server is brought up, calls sound absolutely perfect. Over time, delay (latency) creeps into the calls. What is really weird about that is apparently with the new

5,000 concurrent calls system rollout question
Hi, we are currently considering different options for rolling out a large scale IP PBX to handle around 3,000 + concurrent calls. Can this be done with Asterisk? Has it been done before? I really would like an input on this. Thanks! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

TE420P/TE415P?
Hi, I just read a pressrelease from VON that Digium will soon be releaseing a couple of new cards. What got me interested was: "The TE420P and TE415P support 128ms of G.168 (2002)-compliant echo cancellation across their entire 128 channels." Does anyone know when thease will be released and what they will cost when released? Thanks!

asterisk queue cluster
I setup two asterisk servers with identical settings (same extensions, same queues, etc). Each one is connected to the same amount of incoming/outgoing links (1 PRI, 4 BRI, 1 IAX friend, etc, on each box). Most extensions are sip and they register via DNS SRV and other methods so that the two servers are load balanced. Incoming PSTN calls (BRI) reach 50% each server so that's load balanced
