BRIstuff/QuadBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all, I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns QuadBRI running in NT-mode. Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34) which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages. After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections) on some S0 spans the following message occurs

Fax and dial-up connection issues
I have a pretty large setup on one of my customers. Digium TE420B (with echo cancelling module), 3 Xorcom Astribanks with 32 FXS each and 1 Xorcom Astribank with 16 FXO. These FXO ports are NOT used for fax/data transmission, as they are connected to cell phones. Not really related to the issue, but there are also 250 SIP phones. The problem is that fax and dial-up connections are really

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi, Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come from your kernel configuration... You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config : http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm ! Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI, libpri and Asterisk 1.8? For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2 port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000 I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Sorry if I missed the start of the problem but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you want to stay with zaptel/libpri). > Everyone always mentions zaphfc -- mostly I >

1 ISDN BRI to IAX2/SIP... (*) best tool or?...
I have a question, I have to provide a solution for an office that will be almost abandoned, and there will be one or sometimes two persons 2 days a week. The main number however should be preserved. They have several ISDN BRI connections, most of which will be dropped. Only one will be retained, for 2 reasons: 1) It has the ADSL link 2) The number has been the main contact number for over 20

HFC-S BRI Slack9.1 kernel 2.6.6 "Guide" bri-stuff.0.0.2
Hi ""noobs"" and others(like me). I've been struggling for hours,days,days,days.... to get my Asterisk work with 2x HFC-S BRI cards. One card for use in NT-mode for connecting my ISDN DECT phone, and one card as gateway to PSTN. Now it'works, and I just want to share some of the experience with others. I'd guess there must be 'Somebody Out There' having

bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k + hfc card: dropouts on IAX2 & MP3Player quits on streams
Hi there, I am using bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k and it seems that things didn't become better. I have got lots of dropouts on the IAX2 link (no matter if jitter buffers are enabled). Further the MP3Player application does not playback streams like http://somestreamserver/somestream. It stops saying: -- Executing MP3Player("SIP/27870-ba4f",

BRIstuff/OctoBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all, I just posted this question before last week. Meanwhile after upgrading Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RCg to 1.0.8-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RCh the same problem occurs, but seems to be more seldom. Attached is now the output of "zap show channel" . - I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns OctoBRI running in NT-mode.

ISDN - BRI
Subsequent to some previous E-Mails, I've been trying to dig into the ISDN - BRI situation a bit more. I have determined that I have a HFC card with Winbond chip, but I'm not sure what combination of drivers is best or usable. zaphfc is out because it only supports the cologne chip. misdn is a possibility. I haven't determined if it supports the card natively, or needs a card

BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ?
Hi, Has anyone information about BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ? In another thread, I was told a basic BRI card with HFC chipset (Bewan Gazel 128) was supported but I would delighted to lear about other harwarde (and specifically about Digium B410P). Anyone using National ISDN (NI-1) BRI under Linux?
I have a North American BRI configured as National ISDN (NI-1) on an SBC (Nortel?) switch. SBC calls this "FastTrak ISDN", and it's surprisingly inexpensive -- less than two POTS lines. I've been trying to find an inexpensive PCI interface solution to connect this to Asterisk as voice lines. I prefer ISDN BRI over POTS lines because of the improved signalling, fast dialing,

Multiple ISDN BRI Units with Asterisk using Bristuff zaphfc in NT mode?
Maybe this is rather a hardware question, but I am posting it on this list because the probability of someone else of you having tried this is greater here than other places I can think of. I have an ISDN card that is setup in NT mode using the zaphfc driver in bristuff, and I got it working perfectly with one ISDN phone using a crossover cable and 100 ohm termination at the end of the cable.

About BRI / ISDN hardware. What to buy?
Hello everyone. I need a BRI ISDN card that works in Romania. I already have one of the "Cologne HFC-S" PCI cards and it doesn't work right, it's junk. I get waaaay too much echo using it. I'm now "shopping" for a better card. Can anyone recommend me a card that "fits" the following: (a) Costs less then $1000 / 750 euro (b) Has one or (preferably) two
