Intel 537EP chipset, revisited
Hello everyone. I hope that this isn't a sore topic, but I've spent a week now reading through everything I could dig up from the archives on this topic, and I'm not yet satisfied with any conclusions presented there. I've also spent a few days hacking on the Asterisk code, trying to understand how things work better, and I'm still not ready to give up. I well-realize

Intel 537EP is NOT the MD3200 aka X100P [Re: Intel 537EP chipset, revisited]
It seems the information out there on this topic was confusing enough to cause me to waste a lot of time, and that this topic is rehashed periodically. So now it's my turn.... I had a modem with an Intel 537EP chip on it and thought it might work with the zaptel drivers. Initially, it seemed the only issue would be the PCI device & vendor codes. Then, I ran into the problem that

sweex UPS 1500VA
Hello, have some of you tried sweex UPS 1500VA (http://www.sweex.com/en/assortiment/power-security/power-protection/PP220). It is not listed in hardware compatibility list. As I can see, sweex can be problematic with drivers, but it is not possible to change this UPS to other model now. It is connected by USB and lsusb says only: Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0665:5161 Cypress Semiconductor USB to

No video display, SuSE kernel-xen-2.6.11.4-21.7
Hi all This is a strange one. On upgraging to SuSE kernel-2.6.11.4-21.7, I have suddenly found that I loose the video on boot up! The video disappears very early in boot, possibly while Xen hypervisor is starting, printing out the physical memory map. If you are patient and wait for the machine to reach run level 5, the X server starts up and you get a picture back. You can then switch back and

sweex 1000VA LB OB issue
Hello folks, I have a question regarding a sweex product. Its bundled with UPSmart v 2.12. I installed nut accordingly to the user manual included in the software. A quick check of data/drivers.list revealed to me i should use the: "Sweex" "500/1000" "contact closure - shipped with UPSmart" "genericups upstype=7" driver this driver

Re: Sweex UPS 500VA and NUT problem
Arjan, I am forwarding your email to the nut-upsuser mailing list. I am not an expert on the Powermust driver; hopefully somebody on the mailing list will be able to help you! -- Peter Arjan DJ wrote: > > Dear Peter, > Some days ago I bought a Sweex UPS (500VA) and now I have set up NUT (using > the Powermust driver) and everything is working fine. zaptel make problems (long)
I know that this subject has been treated in the past! As a matter of fact reading some old messages about compiling zaptel I made a couple of tests after the first compiling failure to understand why I can't compile on a specific machine, but I do not know how to handle the results. The machine has SUSE 9.3, and an updated kernel (2.6.11.4-21.7-default; as shown below). YAST (the graphical

Sweex PP200 650VA UPS - Success report
Dear Charles and team Just thought to share my findings getting a Sweex PP200 650VA UPS working with NUT (I didn't see this particular model listed on the HCL.) I picked-up one of these units quite cheaply at a Maplins store (before the chain closed-down) as a second UPS for my home/office - the first being an old Zigor Ebro650 - a long story for another post... NUT v2.7.4_7 is running

Sweex 1000VA UPS
Hi, I'm trying to get a sweex ups working with nut on debian sarge. This one: http://www.sweex.com/producten.php?lang=1&%20sectie=&item=59&artikel=95 It's shipped with UPSmart and according to the compatibility list it should work with the genericups upstype=7 driver. But it doesn't. I get: mybox:/etc/nut# /etc/init.d/nut start Starting Network UPS Tools: (upsdrvctl

Sweex 1000VA UPS (Lakeview Research)
Hi all, i've read a thread about this UPS from Peter van Valderen. He tried to develop a driver for this specific type of UPS. I've downloaded nut-2.2.2 and tried to apply the patches (lakeview.patch & lakeview.v2.patch) but both resulted in rejected chunks. I've tried to ./configure with type lakeview and then a make, but the make command fails. Does anybody has any

make error for zaptel
Hi, I'm running SuSE 9.3 fully updated using YOU and I *have* re-booted the box (in a hope to sort out the uname -r issue mentioned below). I'm using the Asterisk Doc Proj vol 1 to guide me through the initial setup. I have no special HW and intend to use asterisk on an internal network just to get some experience. I have downloaded what I think I need and placed it in /usr/src (see

Generic X100P setup issues
I am starting to dip my toes into the asterisk world, and to that end I've scavenged an old PC (this is a home project, and I have basically $0 to spend on it), and installed FC1. I've purchased a clone X100P (or at least I was told it was), and I am trying to get it to work. However, when I try and load the wcfxo module, I get the following errors... MAKEing zaptel and ztdummy on SuSE 9.3 - Repost
Hi, Sorry to re-post, but I'm still having hassles with ztdummy. I'm using kernel 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp and Asterisk 1.0.8 on SuSE 9.3 The first 3 makes (see below) for zaptel work out ok - but the ztdummy.ko (etc) files *are* created even though I haven't yet uncommented ztdummy in Makefile. If the ztdummy bits are compiled, why edit Makefile & run make again? modprobe ztdummy
