Looking for wisdom - One Asterisk system - Multi-incoming trunks
I'm pretty new to this whole Asterisk system & VoIP thing, but being a
programmer by trade the complexity didn't scare me off (at least not yet)...
I have setup an Asterisk system for my home & home office. My wife & I
run two separate businesses from home, and we have a general family home
phone line as well. The cost of all these lines with analog carriers

Outbound calls through Broadvoice
Hi all, a noob here, I am trying to get outbound calls through asterisk
working with Broadvoice.
I have consulted the following two online tutorials:
http://www.broadvoice.com/support_install_asterisk.html
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+settings+Broadvoice
in an effort to make outbound calls.
My current settings are as follows:

is this possible with asterisk?
Hello Everyone!
I'm wondering if the following is possible with asterisk...
What i'm trying to do is find a program or a solution that can help me set
appointments for a delivery company...
the program should call a person asking them if the following time is suitable
for a delivery... if they agree, they press one and the system logs it... if
they don't agree they press two, etc...

Managing the spiralling costs
I have been using the inbound 800 services from vitelity. Slowly the
usage has been rising and in the month of Jan the bill was for $650. I
am currently on a 1.9 cents a minute plan. Am I paying too much ?
Some suggestions my team generated to reduce the toll free incoming
call bill were:
1. When people call in on the 800 number take the local number they
are calling from and then call them back

Asterisk With Broadvoice
I have configured asterisk with the AMP php configuration utility. I am
able to make outgoing calls through broadvoice but incoming calls are
sent to BV's Voicemail and never actually enter the IVR. When I show
sip debug info through the asterisk prompt it actually reads the
incoming call from BV but then issues a busy signal sending the call to
BV's voicemail.

SIP Incoming / Inbound not working for Broadvoice (Asterisk PBX 1.6.1.6)
Hello,
Please forgive me if I'm repeating this post. I have searched and looked for
similar problem with a solution but have not see a similar one.
My outgoing SIP and other channels work fine but the incoming/inbound SIP
call goes straight to Broadvoice voicemail. I see that Broadvoice is
registered when I look at the SIP registry. I have turned on SIP Debug and
it is below.
Anyone know

Broadvoice-like company in Canada?
Hey folks,
I am looking for a no frills bring-your-own-SIP device VOIP company
similar to Broadvoice.
Does anyone have any experience with VOIP in Canada?

asterisk and Broadvoice Outgoing Again :(
Hi,
I can't make outgoing calls via Broadvoice. I have tried each and every
configuration that was posted to list previously.
I am able to receive incoming calls fine.
I get the following in asterisk console:

Testing a sip call through Asterisk?
I'm looking to find a test tool that will register with our Asterisk
(Trixbox) server here at work and place an outgoing call via our main SIP
trunk (BroadVoice) to confirm that things are working. I've looked around
but I can't seem to find any tools that will do what I'm looking for.
I can't just monitor the status of the trunk inside Asterisk, as this is the
normal status:

Broadvoice problems again
I had my asterisk configuration working very well with broadvoice, but
it stopped working this afternoon.
I plugged the Cisco 7960 phone I used for my origional signup (just a
few days before they offered generic BYOD) and it works fine. I did
notice it seems to do all of its comunication through
proxy.broadvoice.com (I used tcpdump). I have never contacted
broadvoice about using asterisk

Help with Asterisk@home and Broadvoice incoming calls..
Hello everyone,
Well here is my initial posting to the list, and I will admit Asterisk is new
to me. I just got everything running here a couple days ago, so still learning
the ropes for sure.
OK, here is my problem. Currently I have it setup talking to a couple Cisco
IP phones, and some Xten softphones, this works great. I also got an account
with FreeWorld Dialup using IAX2 and that

Another State Of The Punctuation Mark question - Vonage
There was a flurry of "Vonage is going to unlock SIP" activity last
year; did anything productive ever come of it?
Are *you* using your Vonage lines directly into Asterisk?
In lieu of that, for a 4 line small business that doesn't need to pay
Vonage $150 a month, who? Broadvoice? Someone else?
I'm a touch unimpressed with the fact that BV's website *won't quote

Asterisk and Broadvoice, no incoming voice
I just signed up for the BroadVoice service a few hours ago, but for
the life of me I can't get any incoming voice. The incoming
connection is fine as it rings my extension from outside, but I can't
hear anyone talking. Outgoing voice is working fine though.
I've been looking through the archives, but I haven't found a solution
to the problem yet. I even tried another router

Will pay $50 for a MingW build of latest rsync for Win32
I need to distribute rsync (useable for both client and --daemon) on
Win32. Distributing cygwin1.dll is, well you know, a bad idea. I took a
shot at building under MingW but ran into an ugly looking error:

Broadvoice Multiple "lines"
I configured this once now I forgot what I did.
Two Broadvoice accounts.
Incoming is simple - just use the phone numbers.
Outgoing:
Dial out on a specific line
and/or
set up the groups and select the other "line" if the first one is busy?

Broadvoice outgoing problems
Hello All,
I'm just getting into *, and trying to use a Broadvoice account. It works inbound, but Outbound fails no matter what sip.conf parameters I try. From the recent posts here I think it could be:
A bad CVS release - I will try to download and build from a new one

Hello all,
When I call the Broadvoice number all is good.
When I try to call out through DISA on my broadvoice line i get the following:

BroadVoice usage?
Hi all,
I've been trying to use BroadVoice as a SIP service provider. They don't
officially
support * but are helpful when it comes to answering questions for setup
parameters. They claim they have no firewalls or access lists that need to be
set up so I can get access to their servers.
However, something's still not quite right when I use the parameters.
It looks like our Asterisk
