I didn't have a spare 7960 to use this week, so maybe some line issue is
still present.
- fixed a memory leak on database updates (dnd, cfwd*)
- fixed old memory leak on unload (now unload chan_sccp.so and load
chan_sccp.so work. It does reload the config when asterisk is running)

sccp help
Hi,
I tried to connect cisco 7910 into asterisk system using chan_sccp.so.
But I got a major issue :
- when I called from 7910 to another sip phone in the same asterisk
server, the call took place normally.
- when I called from 7910 to another sip phone in different asterisk
server, the call is answered but I cannot hear nor say anything. The
phone just immediately lose its tone.

Newbie 2 PBX VOIP, protocol ?'s using Cisco 827 7910
I am replacing a dead pbx with *. There are four lines I will be using.
There is a Cisco 827-4v already in place so I will move the lines from
the pbx to it.
I am working with Cisco 7910 phones and I understand they use the
Skinny/SCCP protocol. I am not sure if I should use chan_skinny or
chan_sccp?
However my main question is with communication. Do I need to use the
same protocol between the

Call Forward - 7940 Asterisk - Help
I am looking for a simple way to forward calls unconditionally with
Asterisk.
We are running an Asterisk system with 10 extensions using SIP. One of our
users leaves the office regulary, when she is out, she needs to be able to
forward unconditionally to her mobile or collegue.
I am trying to keep it as simple as possible, we use Cisco 7940's, they
have a call forward option, when she

chan_skinny issue
Hey all, I have set up my cisco 30vip using chan_skinny because
chan_sccp wont register. The problem I am having is, everytime a call
is sent to the phone Skinny/200@jason it rings once, then asterisk
segfaults.
heres the output

Kirk IP600 V3 DECT Wireless server
Hi list!
Does anyone have experiences with the updated model of the Kirk IP600?
The V3 model is supposed to support SIP instead of only SCCP or H323 which
would make the use with Asterisk a lot easier.
I have only tested the Kirk IP600 V2 with SCCP / Skinny protocol which is
still giving me severe headaches :
- the standard Skinny driver in * doesn't work, only the version of

chan_sccp availability?
hi,
I'm trying to get the latest chan_sccp. The links from
http://chan-sccp.berlios.de are all dead. Is it just me? Does anyone
know an alternate source to get chan_sccp?
Seems like chan_sccp is the way to go if I have a bunch of cisco
phones I don't want to use SIP on? Anyone else have an opinion on the
built in asterisk skinny vs the chan_sccp?
thanks,
Andy

cisco 7970 sccp
Does anyone have the 7970 work with sccp?
I have used the example configurations from the wiki.
I can see that the phone is failing to retrieve the
CTLSEP<MAC>.tlv file and then is able to retrieve the
SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml file. The phone is hanging with the
message "updating ctl".
Thanks,
John

Problem compiling chan_sccp
Hi,
I recently bought a 7910. I found out too late that it would not do
SIP as I initially thought. Anyway before ditchingit for a 7960 I
wanted to try it out, I read that the guys at
http://chan-sccp.sourceforge.net/ had done some improvements to the
original chan_sccp driver and having 80% functionality with this
model.
I have not been able to compile their driver and keep getting the

Cisco 7960 and Skinny
Hi,
I have bought two Cisco 7960 phones.
I have tried to set-up them to work with Asterisk over Skinny protocol, but
when I try to dial the phone from Asterisk it says that all lines are busy.
Is there something that should be configured on the phone's side? Can
someone help me with that?
Also, I would like to upgrade these phones to use SIP. How can I get the SIP
firmware for my phones. I

[Asterisk-Dev] Cisco 7970 SCCP Configs.
Hi All
I'm trying to get my 7970 working on the latest head version of Asterisk
without success, perhaps someone could help.
I'm using the head version of Asterisk with the chan_sccp from berlios.de
dated 7th August.
The compilation of chan_sccp seems to have worked without any problem,
however I'm pretty sure the problem I have is with the config files in
TFTPBOOT:-

NEWS: SIP Firmware Available for Cisco 7970
I've just recieved a copy of the new SIP firmware for the Cisco 7970,
those of you with Cisco accounts may wish to try it (shock horror I'm
sticking with SCCP).
This coincides with the release of v8 firmware for all Cisco phones (and
for those of you running Sergio's chan_sccp v8 works fine)
The firmware is now also (and for the 7970 SIP, only) distributed in
".cop" files,

Skinny + XMLDefault
Please forgive me my ignorance ...
I've spent two days trying to find out something about the format of the
default configuration file, which CCM produces. The only example I have so
far is the one from the chan_sccp source.
There were tons of references on entering the callmanager commands on a
cisco command line - which I don't have (don't need thanks to
chan_skinny + chan_sccp).

chan-sccp problem, phone is not registering
Hi list!
I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The
wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip
part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server.
The phones do not work and I think the problem is that they do not
register at asterisk but I'm not sure because I don't understand a thing
of the sccp/skinny

cisco 7920 makes 7940 reboot
I have asterisk 1.09 running with chan_sccp.20050701 on Fedora core 4 with
kernel 2.6.12.
I have a Cisco 7940 working with X-lite working on XP too, connecting to
each other, Asterisk and FWD. The 7940 upgraded to SIP7.4 with
xmlDefault.cnf.XML getting delivered via tftp using the loadInformation8
parameter method taken from voip-info.org ("Configuring Cisco 79xx phones
with Asterisk"
