Asterisk Pbx Manager Equivalent (in plain text - apologies to those that dont like HTML mail!!)
http://www.thirdlane.com/screenshots.htm (Asterisk PBX Manager from
Thirdlane) looks like a great program for "eye candy configuration" of
Asterisk.
However it costs lost of $, and I'm currently only an "experimenter" so to
speak.
Anyone advice of a decent alternative that is similar?? Currently, we only
have VOIP connections, but will have a couple of Digium

Apologies -- spam filter mail
My apologies to this list for an automated spam reply which made its way
here recently. I've been advised of it by several subscribers off-list.
I've disabled the automated response feature of my spam filter (Lars
Wirzenius's "spamfilter" procmail recipies). I'm finding the tool
effective but overly aggressive -- if anyone here has experience with
this tool, I'd

Sorry to bother the help list with this, but I've sent two messages to:
cran at r-project.org
to notify about an upload and both have bounced due to:

Thanks

Send and Bounced mail not appearing, depending on mail client
Hi,
I just installed Dovecot2 on Ubuntu 12.04 server with postfix and
postfixadmin. I am using virtual users and virutal domains.
When using Thunderbird, Roundcubemail,iOS mail application on an iPad2
or Kmail n Android, all mail sent and bounce shows up.
However, when using vTigerCRM to send mails, nothing shows up -
anywhere. I know the mail are being send - as per the mail.log and the

Couldn’t get bounced email id in “Failure delivery notice”
Hi All,
We have an email receiver component to receive mails. We couldn’t get the
bounced email id from “failure delivery notice” email.
Scenario: In email receiver, we need to process the bounced emails
separately as in it needs to be tracked and take a action to stop sending
emails to particular email-id if it is hard bounce, and if it’s a soft
bounce, we have to make a count for it and take

apologies
I apologize for sending to the R-list a message I was trying to forward to
my
other e-mail account. The problem is my lack of reading abilities of kanji
characters for the e-mail software. (Yes, I'm working on that here in
Japan).
Apologies once again,
Mark Hall

lda / postfix / dovecot -- bounced messages not working
I saw another thread about this topic, but I did not understand the
solution. . .
I recently discovered my bounced messages were not getting delivered.
Obviously since I was not getting any messages, I thought everything was
fine.
Anyway, my maillog has entries similar to below for bounced messages:
Mar 29 10:48:09 firewall postfix/pipe[9089]: 19565807:

[Asterisk-Dev] RE: [Asterisk-biz] Asterisk training andcertification :: AstriconTraining
I feel this is a slap in the face for those of us that have been here and I
don't feel I should HAVE to pay to be certified... I think me and MANY
others are about to walk out of the project over this. I have already
spoken with many people that are close to the project. You're hurting US
and our ability to make money. I still know the code better than most of
the people that will be

New mailing list - asterisk-app-dev
Hey all -
After much discussion at AstriCon, it became clear that the Asterisk
project could use a mailing list dedicated specifically to application
development. This new mailing list should be used specifically for
discussions regarding the development of applications using AMI, AGI, or
ARI - or any other interface exposed by Asterisk in the future. Today,
we're pleased to announce the

Apologies for the Dupe post
It seems that two copies of my note were posted to the list - my apologies
for the mistake.
It seems I must also apologize for a second dumb thing. My post was based
on a report I received, and was slightly in error. Please ignore the
message entitled 'Samba / NT / Win98 and Browsing'. This should teach me
to jump the gun.
The problem is in fact, already well know it seems - the
