Asterisk@Home, AMP, and Broadvoice
Egad, not again with Broadvoice! Anyhow, I recently installed AAH and configured my TDM11B and got that and some SIP phones working. I still have some issues to work out, etc, but my current problem is Broadvoice. I have checked out all of the online resources, including the recent list exchange about the recent changes made by Broadvoice. However, the one thing I have found to be consitent in

Pager Notification Script
Does anyone on the list have a script for notifying pagers that they would be willing to share? I have found a reference in the archive to such a script, but previous attempts to find the author of that posting have failed. Anyhow, I am looking to set up a system whereby a message is sent to a pager when a voicemail is left in a specified mailbox. (This is easy, it's built-in to

AMP/A@H (asterisk at home) custom incoming routing
Folks, First off, this is messy, and I hope someone will be kind enough to help me clean this up (the part added to extensions_additional.conf). You've been warned! For those of your using AMP or A@H, there has been a lot of talk about how to route incoming calls to different places based on which trunk is ringing. The standard answer is that you can only do this by using DIDs,

Mixed Conditional Logit with nested data
Hello Everyone,   This is my first attempt to do something in R. As a precursor to a Willingness to Pay analysis, I want to conduct a Mixed Conditional Logit analysis but am unsure how to proceed because of some nesting within my data.   Below is some data and code that illustrate what I’m trying to do. The data are based on responses to a conjoint survey obtained during pilot testing. In the

ZAP multiline handset questions
Hi All - I haven't worked much with ZAP handsets before, but I've got a client who is insistent on using a particular phone. My questions: 1. With multiline analog phones, if I've got multiple phones, each connected to a different FXS interface, is there a way to make the line status lights on the other phones show that a particular FXO is in use (like a key system, or like SIP

transfers with zap channel
Ok, I've seen discussion before on doing transfers (attended and unattended), there seems to be much confusion over it. As things sit, I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to do transfers with a zap channel (analog phone attached to TDM400). I have no idea what I'm missing. My current understanding is that I need to have transfer=yes in zapata.conf, do a flash hook, dial the 2nd

Major problems with TDM400 and specific telephones: suggestions?
Hello! Attached to the bottom of this e-mail is an edited version of an e-mail I originally wrote to Digium tech support regarding Ouch and Power alarm errors I have been receiving on my TDM400. It contains a great deal of detail regarding my setup. In the end, I have found that one of the 5 phones I'm trying to make work with Asterisk is contributing to the generation of these errors.

opening 2 and more channels on 1 SIP account
Hi! I have a Grandstream VoIP Device, at which a DECT base with 2 cordless phones are connected. If a call is placed and made through one cordless phone the other cordless phone appears as busy. What I want: 1. The Base station of the DECT cordless phones, is connected at 1 FXS Port of my Grandstream Telephone Adapter. 2. I want to place and receive as many calls at the same time through 1 SIP

Looking for a wireless phone... wifi ortraditional wireless ?
In that example you could make outgoing calls only correct? (since incoming likely needs port forwards) I guess the questions becomes "how often are you going to do that to justify the extra $100 or so you going to pay for a wifi sip phone?" Looking for a wireless phone... wifiortraditionalwireless ?
This senario works great! I have a Snom phone coupled with a Linksys Wireless game adapter. When on a event trip I was able to have the snom ring where ever there was a signal. So the proof of concept passed. Unfortunatly all the wifi phones I have read about seem to suck! -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com <asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com>

Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad
Hi, I have a problem with this particular gamepad. I calibrated it under linux with jscal and it is working OK. But now I want to play FIFA with it and fifa don't detect it as Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad but as controler. I found wine registry tips and followed their guide for DirectInput but I have a problem because command specified there doesn't give the expected output: Code:

HardPhone Dilemma
I have a dilemma. I am trying to setup an asterisk setup for about 10 people, but with the ability to expand to 100s. We are looking into hardphones to use for our systems. Here are the requirments I am looking for: SIP Not POE Full duplex Speakerphone $100-$300 We would like to have the cordless and corded option if possible (at least for 3 of the 10 people). Sipura 3000 Question
Dear list, I am playing with Sipura 3000 since last week. Through the wiki pages I could get running it reasonably well. My setup is that of a Sipura, linked with a local analog cordless phone, a local PSTN line and the setup to link to an asterisk server located at a remote static ip address. I can dial the cordless phone from other extensions located at the asterisk server; I can dial out

Cordless VoIP Phones and Access Point hand-off?
I have a situation where we have an asterisk box that is extending several Mitel PBX extensions to some cordless SIP phones (Cisco WIP310). Everything works great, except when the cordless phone walks out of range of one access point and into range of another (cisco 1100 series APs). I've been able to get virtually seamless roaming between access points to work in the past with data but

dfsane arguments
Hi there, I'm trying to solve 2 nonlinear equations in 2 unknowns using the BB package. The first part of my program solves 3 ODEs using the deSolve package. This part works. The output is used as parameter values in the functions I need to solve. The second part is to solve 2 equations in 2 unknowns. This does not work. I get the error message "unexpected end of input". So what

TDM40B and weird analog problem
OK, I have a Asterisk @ Home 1.0.7 server with two Digium TDM400 cards, one 4 port FXO and one 4 port FXS. When I plug an analog cordless phone into the TDM40B card and setup a ZAP extension, the phone rings in and you can answer just fine. The weird part is when you try to get dialtone from the cordless handset it rings all of the other extensions... One other thing to mention is that the

TDM400P won't ring GM phone of mere 0.1B
This is rather bizarre: My TDM11 (one FXS) rings a $10 passive phone with REN of 1.0B, a cheap speaker phone of 0.3B, and a cordless phone with marked REN of 0.0B. But it couldn't properly ring this 27935GE3-B (FCC ID G9H2-7930) cordless phone rated at merely 0.1B. Rarely, the phone will crack out an occasional weak and abrupt beap, but never a normal ring. Otherwise Asterisk and TDM400P
