OrderlyQ installations?
What experience can be shared about installing and running the OrderlyQ application? I have a bunch of queues set up and want to start adding some additional apps and this one looked promising but I have very little java experience and it doesn't seem to be running properly. Which Java FastAGI implementation has the most "market share"?
When I was looking for a Java FastAGI interface for Asterisk I came across asterisk-java first and didn't realize there was more than one out there. It seems to work fine and I've got my first project working with it, but I was wondering which Java FastAGI implementation is the most popular and how they compare against each other. So I'm aware of: asterisk-java JastAGI

Asterisk Queues Tutorial updated - Hot-Desking without Agent Channels
Hello, Just to let you know, our popular tutorial on setting up Asterisk for call centres has been updated. The tutorial covers everything from initial Asterisk installation to full call centre configuration with dynamic login and hot-desking support for agents. The old version of the tutorial used Agent Channels (e.g. Agent/1001) to distribute calls to agents through the Queue()

looking for an Asterisk supervision (status viewer) tool
Hi! I am looking for a tool (application or webinterface) which shows me the current status of an Asterisk server, e.g.: - Status of the SIP peers (registered/offline) - current incoming and outgoing calls - start-time, numbers, some history - history (calls stopped in the last 15 minutes, who hang up?) - should be possible to link those calls to the relevant SIP peers -

Missing 31 DTMF tones over ZAP
Hello, I'm posting this to the list in case others run into the same issue. I've recently been connecting * to a legacy Avaya InDEX switch over E1 ISDN PRI here in the UK. Everything was working OK, except that DTMF digits were not being recognised by * when sent by the Avaya switch to the * system. Instead, the background noise of the call centre would be silenced while

Queues monitoring software - OrderlyStats now FREE
Hello Voipcrazy, It's funny you should mention that - we've just released (as in today) a FREE version of our OrderlyStats service for call centre and queue monitoring and management. OrderlyStats features realtime (synchronous/message-based) display of all queue, agent and caller events so you can see what's happening in your call centre as it happens. The control panel feature

Music on Hold: CPU Intensive Monster
OK. So I did a test last night. All of asterisk's threads where using 0.0% CPU. I made 1 call to our call queue. CPU jumped to average of 9% and stayed around that for the 2 minutes I was in the queue just listening to music on hold. MOH is in MP3 format and I'm using format_mp3. Phone was linksys PAP2-NA using G729. Can I reasonably assume that the 9% was decoding the MP3, then

MoH trouble with latest bristuff (0.3.0-PRE-1f)
Hi, I've installed * 1.2.1 with latest bristuff patches (0.3.0-PRE-1f). When I activate music-on-hold on a SIP-to-SIP connection, the music sounds like in a fast-forward play mode. On the *-console I can see much lines like this: -- Silence suppression is disabled (option_silence_suppression=0 chan->timingfd=18) What's going on? With bristuff 0.3.0-PRE-1d everything works fine (but

Reproducible samba bug with directory name
I just recreated this bug in samba-3.0.26a-3.3. It is as simple as creating a directory named "F-08-6104 International Management Assoc." (without the quotes), then looking at the name of the directory via XP. I've done it twice now: OpenSUSE 10.2 + Samba 3.0.23d-19.7 + XFS, all from Novell OpenSUSE 10.3 + samba-3.0.26a-3.3 + XFS, all from Novell With both I get the same wrong

[PATCH 1/7] Revert "ACPI / OSI: Add OEM _OSI string to enable dGPU direct output"
This reverts commit 28586a51eea666d5531bcaef2f68e4abbd87242c. The original commit message didn't even make sense. AMD _does_ support it and it works with Nouveau as well. Also what was the issue being solved here? No references to any bugs and not even explaining any issue at all isn't the way we do things. And even if it means a muxed design, then the fix is to make it work inside the
