Digium TDM400P has RJ45 interface, how to connect to analog phone RJ11?
<div><BR>Hello,</div> <div>&nbsp;I bought a TDM400P, and intended to use it with my analog phone, which is RJ11 ofcourse. So, the question now, how do I plug in my RJ11 phone to the TDM400P card, which has an RJ45 interface? Also, since it's an 11B card, I also intend to bring in an analog line into the RJ45, so i am still left with the same question....how do I go

RJ11 x RJ45

TAE to RJ11 connector (hope not OT)
Hi, I'm trying to use a Detewe TA 33-clip but there is no rj11 connector on it...only a TAE connector. I'd like to create an adapter so I need to know which TAE pins to connect to RJ 11 pins. Is there anybody who knows where I can find a schema of that adapter? Single connector pinout may help too. TIA Giorgio Incantalupo

Newbie: Looking to setup calling between 2 analog phones with a TDM20B
I have a TDM20B and asterisk compiled fine. The drivers have been loaded (wcfxs and run ztcfg -vv, I see the drivers loaded with lsmod). Asterisk starts up fine. I am using the default configuration files that are made when you do a "make samples". I was wondering if someone had a link or website that stepped someone through this kind of setup. What I want to do right now, is use a

TDM400P (TDM20B) 'Freshmaker failed register test'
No matter what I do, I've tried now three different motherboards, my TDM400P keeps giving 'Freshmaker failed register test' after emitting a list of xx != 00 errors. Anyone have any clues for me? I'm wondering if I got a bad module or what. TIA -- Undocumented Features quote of the moment... "It's not the one bullet with your name on it that you have to worry about;

TDM20B and UK caller ID signalling
I have a TDM400 with 2 FXS cards, and a Samsung 6100 DECT base station connected to one of the ports. The base station appears to only support UK (BT) style CLIP Caller ID signalling. Does anyone know if it is possible to configure the ZAP channel to send in this format, or alternatively can you recommend a GAP compatible base station which will handle both BT and Bellcore signalling? TDM400 w/ FXS S110M pinout on RJ11 connector?
Hi all, I just got my long awaited FXS modules for a TDM400 card, and was a bit puzzled about how my phones and the FXS interface worked together. Here goes: In Sweden (that's where I am located) phones traditionally are connected in daisy chain configuration. This means that a phone in on-hook condition passes the line through back onto the outer pair of the RJ11, back into the wall

Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) connectors
Hi, I'm no phone guy but I've been having quite a bit of fun messing with Asterisk. I just unwrapped my new Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) which is the new 4 port FXS PCI card. It has 4 RJ45 connectors and I'd like to hookup 4 regular phones which are RJ11. If I crip RJ45 connectors to the phone cords do I simple use the center two pins (pins 4 and 5)? Thanks, Randy Smith Tiger

TDM400P > BT
Hi folks, Any Brits on the list got experience of hooking devices with standard BT plugs to the TDM400P? The TDM400P has the RJ11/RJ45 socket but I'm not sure if a standard adapter will do the trick or if we need to consider ring capacitors etc. Any links to buy the stuff would also be appreciated. Mitel 5010 +5220
I know this is not strictly an asterisk issue but it is related I guess. Just to let you know that after many calls to Mitel the consensus is that they will be releasing a new version of the 5220 that is dual boot (minet and SIP) next week or the week after. This firmware will only appear on NEW phones manufactured after the release date (no one could confirm but the 23rd of sept was
