chan_sccp 20050730 release
release 20050730 http://chan-sccp.berlios.de/ <ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/chan-sccp/chan_sccp-20050730.tar.bz2> - very experimental hint (busy status line lamp or icon) support. This is a very experimental system so it might not work properly with particular cisco phones. 7960, 7970 and 7940 with recent firmware does work great. Old phones can't, of course, use the hint system. There

chan_sccp new release
http://chan-sccp.berlios.de/ 20050713 ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/chan-sccp/chan_sccp-20050713.tar.bz2 I didn't have a spare 7960 to use this week, so maybe some line issue is still present. - fixed a memory leak on database updates (dnd, cfwd*) - fixed old memory leak on unload (now unload chan_sccp.so and load chan_sccp.so work. It does reload the config when asterisk is running) - socket

SCCP problem with ATA188, Asterisk@home and chan_sccp
Hi, This is a message I already posted on the chan_sccp mailing list, but since this list has a lot of active members, I'm hoping someone might be able to help (And my problem is * related, so I guess it's ok if I post it here also ;) ). I'm trying to get SCCP ATA188s to run with Asterisk. The Asterisk box uses the latest Asterisk@Home image (Version 2.6). I have compiled and

Problem with chan_sccp and cisco 7960

On Cisco 7960 (with or without 7914 add-on module) when I press speakerphone button (or select line with line button - which automatically put second line on speakerphone) after about 15-20 seconds of dialtone Asterisk stable dies (seg fault). Tested versions of Asterisk are 1.0.2, 1.0.3 or 1.0.5, chan_sccp is newest form CVS of chann-sccp.sourceforge.net ). Firmware of 7960 is

Gxp 2000 softkey question
I have a function *1 that starts and stops recording in a call. I use a function so I can use MixMonitor. It works well, however I would like to make it a little more integrated for my users. We have GXP 200 hardphones. So far I've been able to configure a softkey using the speeddial option to dial *1 during a call. I also have setup another key to monitor the status of recording (on/off)

Cisco 7960 won't dial (sccp)
I'm trying to setup a couple of Cisco 7960's in asterisk. I have asterisk working fine for sip clients, and can call the 7960's just fine, but I can't seem to dial out on them. As soon as I enter the first digit, the phone attempts to dial it without waiting for the rest. I've changed timeout settings, etc but can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? Asterisk

chan_sccp and hinting
Ok, so multiple people have said that hinting is possible with chan_sccp on the 7940/7960's and such, has anyone got this working? How do you go about getting this to work? I'd use the wiki, but it's link to the mailing list topic on that doesn't work anymore :( -- Aaron Daniel Computer Systems Technician Sam Houston State University amdtech@shsu.edu (936) 294-4198

Re: chan_sccp / 7960: reproduceable semi-lockup
>Does the CVS has the 7910 support as well ? >If you want I can test it on asterisk/OpenBSD. > > yes it's supported. I can't really get it to work right 'cause I just have ciscos 7960/7905. Can anyone donate 7910/7920/7970? I will make them work just like they work in CCM, otherwise I will send them back :-) Sergio

Re: [Chan-sccp-users] Need help with hint and callgroup
I don't think that will fix my problem. The hints on the individual user extensions (101, 102, 103 and 104 below) are working just fine. sccp.conf example of 1 user: [devices] type = 7970 description = User1 tzoffset = -6 autologin = 101,401 speeddial = 102,User2,102@wct-internal speeddial = 103,User3,103@wct-internal speeddial = 104,User4,104@wct-internal device => SEP000F90CEF9D3

Need help with hint and call group
We have 4 employees and we're running Cisco 7970 phones. Each phone has a unique SCCP line configured (in the autologin area of the sccp.conf file) for each employee. We have hints set up in the extension.conf file like the following: exten => 101,hint,SCCP/101 exten => 102,hint,SCCP/102 exten => 103,hint,SCCP/103 exten => 104,hint,SCCP/104 We have speeddial= lines set
