H323 Configuration file
Folks!
I would appreciate if someone could send me a simple working h323
configuration file oh323.conf that is part of asterisk@home
installation.
I have tried to use the oh323.conf content listed on WIKI but it is just
not working as my H323 endpoint ( PA168 based ATCOM Phone) cannot
register. I need a working example of this file for similar phone.

Help! - Unintelligible prompts and music
I have set up a couple of test Asterisk servers and have never had a problem
with sound.
I've just done a fresh install on a dual 1GHZ PIII Asus box running Fedora
Core3 with the Digium PCI Dev kit and following all the various Core 3
How-To's. I can make calls ok but when any sound is sent from the Asterisk
box such as voice prompts and music on hold the sound is completely chopped

solaris 10 type zone possible enhancement?
Two enhancements of the type "zone" would be great:
- a zone transition from ''running'' to ''installed'' should do a complete
shutdown of the zone before ''zoneadm -z <zonename> halt'' is called,
respectively instead of it.
zlogin <zonename> "init 0" does the job, but it comes back immediately
without checking

Calls with oh323 with no sound
Hi,
I've oh323 chan installed and working to make calls from SIP to H323
devices. The problem is can no hear sound with the H323 device. I think
this is some related with codecs o nat, because the H323 have one public
IP from a different subnet from the asterisk box.
If I use netmeeting in gateway mode, the call can be completed and I can
talk with a SIP device, but in gateway mode I can not

DDNS with Bind
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello,
I try to set up a ADDC with bind9 and dhcp-Server for dynamic
DNS-updates. I followd the wiki:

th_BIND9
My problem is, that the PTR Record will not be updated, because the
script is using the wrong reverse-zone:

Bind, DHCPD and Samba
Hey Folks,
I currently have bind and dhcpd configured to allow for dynamic updates, though when I try to manually add in the srv records required for correctly identifying the samba pdc, they get overwritten when bind starts.
How can I modify the bind configuration so that it writes the correct information? Also, is there a way to have samba write the correct information to bind?
As for the

rewrite manpages to mdoc(7)
Dear authors of NSD,
currently, the manpages that come with NSD
are written in the traditional man(7) markup language.
I am proposing to rewrite them into the semantic markup
of the mdoc(7) language. I am willing to do the work.
See a version of nsd-checkzone.8 below as an example.
Both the man(7) and mdoc(7) languages have been around for decades,
and are supported by the prevalent formatters:

Reccomendations for connecting to 3-4 PSTN lines?
Hello,
I'm looking to connect Asterisk with three (four in the future) PSTN
lines, and would like to get some opinions on the TDM400 Digium card, vs.
sip gateways like the Mediatrix 1204, vs. other hardware solutions I'm not
yet aware of.
I need the ability to prioritize which PSTN lines are used for outgoing
calls (I understand this can be done with the Mediatrix --
