Broadvoice outgoing problems
Hello All,
I'm just getting into *, and trying to use a Broadvoice account. It works inbound, but Outbound fails no matter what sip.conf parameters I try. From the recent posts here I think it could be:
A bad CVS release - I will try to download and build from a new one
Broadvoice not challenging and/or Asterisk not responding with an Authorization: in the INVITE header.

Broadvoice + Videosupport=yes - Fails!
Hi All
First time poster, long time reader.
I just ran into something really bizarre. I've enabled videosupport and
have been testing sip calls with Xten Eyebeam software, it works
(mostly)
However, when I have
Videosupport=yes
In the [general] section of my sip.conf, broadvoice calls fail w/ "We're
sorry your call cannot be completed at this time"
So... I've

Broadvoice problem
Since Thursday evening my asterisk box has been failing to register with
broadvoice. I haven't changed any of my config files in the last week.
Can anyone suggest anything?

Err... RAID10 is not 10 disks unless you stripe 5 mirrors of 2 disks.

Fwd: Re: Broadvoice latest changes and still not working- An Additional Server ****SOLVED****
This configuration solved my problem. I could have sworn I tried this
before. I guess not. I did not need to apply the patch. Also, I am using a
regular Registration setup in my sip.conf not broadvoice's funky one...
The only thing I can surmise is that order of the variables matters.
This is what worked for me:

Asterisk@Home, AMP, and Broadvoice
Egad, not again with Broadvoice! Anyhow, I recently installed AAH and
configured my TDM11B and got that and some SIP phones working. I still
have some issues to work out, etc, but my current problem is Broadvoice.
I have checked out all of the online resources, including the recent
list exchange about the recent changes made by Broadvoice. However, the
one thing I have found to be consitent in

Broadvoice hangs-up / disconnects after about 30 deconds
I have just installed * from the latest CVS and I can make calls via X-Lite to outside numbers but for only 30 to 35 Seconds at a time then Broadvoice will hang up on me but X-Lite will not know it. Once I hang up X-Lite then I will get the following error message:
Spawn extension (default, Number-I-Dialed, 1) exited non-zero on 'SIP/200-6a22'

All Circuits are Busy Now
I have downloaded and installed Asterisk@home and I have installed X-Lite on my Windows machine and I am able to connect it to the Asterisk server. I went ahead an created an account on Broadvoice today and followed the directions on http://voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+settings+Broadvoice and http://foo.robotics.net/mediawiki-1.3.10/index.php/Asterisk_Setup but when ever I try and make a call from

ULaw not negotiating
Ok,
My provider is sending a call to me via ULaw but Asterisk isn't picking up
on this, I've only allowed ulaw, I disallow=all and then allow=ulaw in my
sip.conf and that's the only thing I allow, but when my provider sends me
the requests, I get an error about No Compatible Codecs:

No sound when calling in from pstn
I am just starting out with * so bear with me please.
I have tdm400p with 4 fxo modules on it. When I call into the asterisk
box from my mobile, I can see the asterisk console picks the call up
and routes it to my computer with x-lite. There was no sound coming
from either - just silence. I then decided to route it directly to
voice mail to see if that would narrow the problem down, but it

Can only call VoIP SIP Providers (Weird)
I'm using Asterisk 1.0.4 with AMP and Broad Voice.
I have that with only 5 XTen Lite phones.
I'm able to call / etc with internal phones just fine.
I can call outside Vonage Numbers, and other
BroadVoice Numbers. I have vonage where I live (626)
and can call that fine. However, other 626 numbers I
get similar errors as below.
However, everytime, I try to call cell phones, and or

I can see via sip debug that I am communicating with BV just fine.
When I call a BV number it goes through just fine.
When I call any other # I get: "We're sorry your call can not be completed

Broadvoice tech support does not see any errors and they see that I am

USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi,
I have two accounts with broadvoice.
Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them.
I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the
register statement. For example:
register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000
Unfortunately, this is not working.
When I call into my box I hear busy tone.
My config looks like this:
[root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf

broadvoice/asterisk
Ok we have found a better solution. Put everthing back the way it was and
make sure that you have this line in your general section of you sip.conf
file:
srvlookup=yes
We have added a SRV entry in the correct place now. So everyrthing should
go the correct servers.

Broadvoice latest changes and still not working-An
I've tried everything with the * box after this weekend. I have read
every document on the problems people are having with them after this
weekend as well, but none of them address my problem.
I checked my settings in my sips which I have below as well,
I have changed the host file a few times, but this was new to me and I
never had modified it before. I have and the same results
