* & ISDN-BRI-PTP & DID & ISDN4Linux does not show incoming number
Hi,
I am using Asterisk on a DSS1 ISDN-BRI with ISDN4Linux (and a Fritz Card PnP).
The ISDN-BRI is in PTP-Mode (Point to Point "german: Anlagenanschluss")
which is enabled within I4L with "hisaxctrl fcpcipnp0 7 1".
Everything works fine except that I can not see the called number/MSN
of incoming calls within Asterisk and because of this I can not route
incoming calls

Where to purchase ISDN (BRI) cards in Australia (preferably)
Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody knows where one might obtain a PCI ISDN
card supporting a single BRI for use with Asterisk in Australia (and
using something like chan_capi).
Because of the Isdn4Linux DTMF issue, I don't want one of those cards.
I've already spent too much time messing about with my current card.
I'm after something like the AVM Fritz! cards. I found one place

AVM Fritz! + chan_capi + mISDN + PTP
Hello everyone,
I have been using an AVM Fritz! card with chan_capi and mISDN for
quite a while in PTM mode and it was working finely.
Now, I needed more DID/MSN, so I switched to PTP. But now nothing
works anymore :(
I am using Asterisk on Debian Sarge stable and installed Asterisk
along with chan_capi from apt-get. I installed mISDN from the CVS of
isdn4linux.de.
It is :

HELP on AVM Fritz with CAPI drivers for SMP RH 9
Hello,
I have been wrestling with installing the CAPI drivers for AVM Fritz in order
to use chan_capi with Asterisk.
I use an SMP machine, RH 9. I have found rpm's for CAPI and AVM drivers
(namely: capi4k-utils-2003.06.16-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm and kernel-2.4.20-8-
avmfcpci-03.11.02-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm), but I believe that they support only
single processor machines.
I've already

2 x Fritz!pci card
Hello,
Has anybody installed 2 Fritz pci cards in an asterisk box ?
I can't make them work : each card is working fine when installed alone
(with chan_capi), but I get a kernel freeze when doing 'insmod' with
both cards installed.
I am using Mandrake 10.1 with kernel 2.6, so the hack described at
http://www.quiss.org/caiviar/Two-Fritzcards-HOWTO cannot be used (the
hack requires

ISDN problem: lacking dialtone
Hi all,
this is a rather "newbie-oriented" question, so please bear with me...
The system running Asterisk has been provided with an AVM FRITZ!Card
PnP. SuSE Linux 9.0 recognizes it right after booting the system and it
seems to be configured (MSN) correctly...
The hwinfo looks like this:
---
pbx:/etc/asterisk # hwinfo --isapnp

Teles PCI and chan_capi, possible ???
Hello!
I'm curently using * with two old Teles PCI card (wich, btw, were hard to
install and make good use of) with ISDN4Linux.
The sound quality is simply perfect.
However both dialing in and out through the ISDN line, there seems to be a
_little_ bit of echo that eventually gets on your nerves !
Also the echo seems to get a _little_ bigger after a minute or so into the
conversation.

dtmf tone clamping in calls to external ivr
Hello,
I'm having trouble working out how to send DTMF tones to an external
IVR. My system has an analog phone connected to a TDM400P card, a SIP
software phone (Zultys LIPZ4) and is connected to a BRI in Australia
with a NETjet-S card. I'm using ISDN4Linux and a 2.4.25 kernel patched
with the ISDN audio patch from Traverse (which allows the card to do
voice).
DTMF works fine between

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup..
Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels..
According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across

Very small office install
A few months ago I discovered *. Recently have taken more interest
in it, since I have to install phones into my wife's small office.
Hope that my questions weren't discussed recently and are not to
dumb.
The current requirements for * consist of a single incoming ISDN
BRI line (currently have 5 MSN allocated), 3 internal extensions
and a single analog fax.

Newbie questions about ISDN&zapata.conf, outbound dialing, TDMoE
Hi,
I spent some hours working my way through the WIKI and a number of other
documentations, but after all, three questions are still left:
1. I'm using a Fritz!Card with the i4l driver - no problem at all, my
Grandstream BT 100 rings when I diall a regular phone number.
Is there any need for me to configure the zapata.conf for the ISDN card to get
a special asterisk feature or is this

ISDN BRI hardware
Hi,
Anybody have lots of experience with PCI ISDN cards and Asterisk? I'm
thinking of getting a BRI in my house to deliver more advanced signaling to
my PBX (yes, I'm a geek :-)) but I've never played with isdn4linux.
Is there any particular BRI card that works better with Asterisk than any
other?
Also, can the BRI interface cards participate in conference, etc., since

ISDN4Linux + Asterisk and Europe
Hello,
Anyone on this group using / implementing * and hardware certified for
use in Europe ? I believe that ISDN4Linux cards mostly have telecomm
certificates, so using them should be safe on the client side. Are there
any major issues / problems associated with using such cards with * ?
I am talking about a small / very small office with single - few lines.
All the best,
Piotr Adamiak
