Is it an AGI bug in 1.06? IAX Calls going to wrong extension with AGI.
I am using PBXware for configuring users and extensions. Pbxware uses Internal script called init.sh to process the calls based on its own version of extensions.conf defined in the GUI. I have IAX2 Extensions 56 and 101 and SIP extensions 50 and 51. I have used IAX2 extension 101 and dialed SIP Extension 51 But the PBXWare's Init.sh AGI command identifies the DNIS as another IAX

Features you'd like to see in a GUI?
Sherwood, Your intentions are noble and your desire to build this, fullfills an immediate need for business. If your intention is just to build a GUI for Asterisk, read no further. If your desire is to build something more purposeful, your best bet would be to see the existing commercial GUI/HostedPBX offerings like Pbxware and Switchware from bicomsystems.com ( http://www.bicomsystems.com)

Any experience with Linksys WRT54GP2 as localextensions to Asterisk ?
While we have not been able to get our hands on this model yet (we have the other Linksys models) the Linksys voice products are based on the sipura technologies ATA and will work. I was under the impression that the only shipping WRT54GP2's are provisioned and locked to ATT (for now). Also keep in mind that you must be an ITSP and get authorized by cisco/Linksys to be able to buy all Linksys

Java versions in CentOS
Hi All, Following the latest security updates from Oracle, the version of OpenJDK package is currently listed as: java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.51-2.4.4.1.el6_5.x86_64.rpm The Redhat security advisory lists these packages: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2014-0026.html but it makes no reference to the build number, which it turns out is important. The build on the package in centos 6.5 is

operator console
Hi, My users are currently using an operator console interface like this: see it at: http://www.whssf.org/interface.jpg which came with a Praxon PDX we got about 5 years ago, which is now unsupported, it works very good and converts any analog phone plugged into the system into a powerful console, (provided you have a computer next to it) you just provide the box ip, user login, user pass,

Well.. since we are talking about this topic I owe you guys notes of my experience with SC1100 CPU used by various boards (www.soekris.com , www.pcengines.ch etc.). We made a Linux distro and compacted it into 32MB flash. Installed asterisk and

Is it an AGI bug in 1.06? IAX Calls going towrong extension with AGI.
Steven Critchfield Wrote: ------------------------ Just a quick thought here, as the vast majority doesn't have access or at the minimal don't use the software you are using to do config and as it is an agi script outside of asterisk, you should go to the vendor of PBXWare and see what they say. /SNIP/ Let me rephrase my question - Has anyone faced any problem with DeadAgi script where

Druid Open Source Edition
I have recently noticed that druid @ http://www.voiceroute.org has created an open source edition of their platform. I downloaded it today and installed it on a play system where I have about 20 ip phones ranging from cisco, polycom and aastra phones. I didn't even have to configure them as the system automatically did it for me. I have been using trixbox/freepbx combination for over that last

Software only Asterisk PBX (commercial)
Are there any switchvox/fonality type Asterisk based PBXs where I can buy just the software? I don't want to buy their 'bundles' that come with junky PC hardware. I just want their software/GUI to run on my hardware. Does Asterisk BE come with a GUI management console for managing phones, queues, VM and the like? -Matt -- Matthew S. Can Asterisk & Shoretel systems talk to each other?
We have a Shortel system at out main site. We're putting Asterisk servers at several smaller remote sites. I know I'll be able to get the Asterisk servers to talk to each other via IAX, but can they talk to the Shoretel server? Basically, I'd like to be able to, from the main site with Shoretel, dial an extension, and reach that phone at a remote site, and vice-versa. Thank

Can Asterisk and new ShoreTel 6 talk to each other?
I've been anxiously awaiting ShoreTel version 6 because of it expanded use of SIP. My plan was to upgrade out ShoreTel server at our main office to version 6, and use Asterisk in our small remote offices, and have them all be able to directly dial each other's extension. (i.e. CEO in main office can dial ext 401 and get directly to secretary at small remote office, and vice-versa)

Getting two Asterisk machines to talk to each other
I want to do something that seems like it should be very simple. Then again so am I ;) Anyway, I have two asterisk boxes on separate subnets. What I want is for a certain extension 3053 when dialed on the main machine to ring through to a SIP phone that is registered on the other Asterisk machine. I'm sure the information is out there I just can't seem to concoct the proper search
