Is it an AGI bug in 1.06? IAX Calls going to wrong extension with AGI.
I am using PBXware for configuring users and extensions. Pbxware uses Internal script called init.sh to process the calls based on its own version of extensions.conf defined in the GUI. I have IAX2 Extensions 56 and 101 and SIP extensions 50 and 51. I have used IAX2 extension 101 and dialed SIP Extension 51 But the PBXWare's Init.sh AGI command identifies the DNIS as another IAX

MWI not working on Polycom Phones
Hi All - I'm running version SIP version 1.3.4 on various IP300, IP500, and IP600 Polycom phones. I'm having a tough time with MWI. I thought I remembered somebody on the list saying that they had it working, but I can't find it in the archives now. I have all the phones configured for MWI as specified in the WIKI: ipdmid.cfg: up.oneTouchVoiceMail="1"

Polycom vs. Cisco IP Phones
Hi all, I am working on building a new VoIP PBX. Looking at the current market for phones it seems my best "enterprise" options are the Cisco and Polycom phones. I have some experiance with the Cisco 7940G, but the process of flashing the phone with the SIP firmware left a bad taste in my mouth (not to mention the added expense for the phone). What is the general consensis about

Re: transfers/parked calls + polycom 501
This is a dialpaln issue. I solved the same problem recently. For 4 digit extensions you need to append the dialplan statement in the sip.cfg configuration file as follows <digitmap dialplan.digitmap="[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2 -9]xxxT|1xxxT" dialplan.digitmap.timeOut="3"/> Michael > I am not sure what I did but blind transfers do not

Polycom screwed up Messages button in 1.4.1?
I think Polycom has added another feature that nobody wants. With MWI configured, and a phonexxx.cfg that has this: <msg msg.bypassInstantMessage="1"> <mwi msg.mwi.1.subscribe="" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact" msg.mwi.1.callBack="XXX" msg.mwi.2.subscribe=...> </msg> Under 1.3.4 and earlier, the phone would immediately

Hi - > I am not sure what I did but blind transfers do not work. The Polycom does > not allow me to dial the extension of the person I want to transfer to after > I hit: > > transfer -> blind I would strongly suggest getting the latest firmware, and using the sample configuration files with that firmware to set up your phone. This SHOULD work. If it still does not work

Features you'd like to see in a GUI?
Sherwood, Your intentions are noble and your desire to build this, fullfills an immediate need for business. If your intention is just to build a GUI for Asterisk, read no further. If your desire is to build something more purposeful, your best bet would be to see the existing commercial GUI/HostedPBX offerings like Pbxware and Switchware from bicomsystems.com ( http://www.bicomsystems.com)

Polycom IP-600 phone review
Hello, After receiving and finally being able to configure my new Polycom IP 600 phone Here are my initial experiences: GOOD STUFF: - The sound is wonderful from both handset and speaker (711U) - The large multi-shade LCD screen is beautiful (for a phone) - The phone has an integrated Ethernet switch so you can connect a PC to it as a passthru - The AC adapter was included (small thing, but

Polycom SIP Phones On LAN can't register without WAN (Internet) Access
We are having an issue that I have been unable to figure out how to resolve. I think its related to the Polycom Phones and not the Asterisk configuration, but I'm not positive. We have several Polycom 500/501/601's on both a LAN and at employee homes. The problem we are having is if our internet connection goes down the Local LAN phones loose their connection to the Asterisk Server.

FW: polycom 500 help!!
Dean, I appreciate the suggestion. Is it really necessary. I've got slackware already installed on the box. (I consider myself a bit of a Linux guru.), all the drivers, and Asterisk. Everything seems to work fine, EXCEPT getting it to talk to the extension. wouldn't it be easier/faster to just adjust a few settings than to re-initialize my entire box. dean collins wrote: >If

Asterisk 1.2.18 and Polycom phones not forwarding anymore
Hi, I've had a functioning Asterisk system (1.2.18), which I haven't reconfigured in any way, that is just now refusing to forward calls. I only have Polycom phones. When I use the phone's forward feature (forwarding the phone with extension 204 to extension 206, which used to work as recently as yesterday) I get this in the console: "called sipreg-12344". No ringing,

Rebooting ALL polycom phones
Hi, I know that if you have Polycom phones properly configured, you can use "sip notify polycom-check-cfg SIP_REGISTRATION_ID" to have the phones download the new configuration from the provisioning server and reboot. Is there anyway to send the same command to all peers (let's say I had 50 polycom phones that I wanted to reboot)? Thanks, Mike -------------- next part

OT: how much are polycom phones in the UK
Sorry for the OT, but I was simply wanting some rough guidelines from someone who has bought one. I resent having to fill out a form (every damn polycom "partner" I've found in the uk will not publish a price) just to find out how much. If I have to ask, is it too expensive ;) And, from where could I get one ? Julian
