Asterisk and Broadvoice, no incoming voice
I just signed up for the BroadVoice service a few hours ago, but for the life of me I can't get any incoming voice. The incoming connection is fine as it rings my extension from outside, but I can't hear anyone talking. Outgoing voice is working fine though. I've been looking through the archives, but I haven't found a solution to the problem yet. I even tried another router

7912 phones loosing registration
I have a handful of 7912's connected to my asterisk 1.2.14 server. (6 to be exact). I get the X on the display sometimes for loosing registration. I have the config file for the 7912's SipRegInterval: 60 and asterisk is the default. ; maxexpirey=3600 ;defaultexpirey=120 I've not changed them. How can I keep these phones online and stop loosing registration? Thanks, Jerry

USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi, I have two accounts with broadvoice. Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them. I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the register statement. For example: register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000 Unfortunately, this is not working. When I call into my box I hear busy tone. My config looks like this: [root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf

I've tried everything with the * box after this weekend. I have read every document on the problems people are having with them after this weekend as well, but none of them address my problem. I checked my settings in my sips which I have below as well, I have changed the host file a few times, but this was new to me and I never had modified it before. I have and the same results

Stumped by BroadVoice SIP

Last guy to get BV working outbound?
I have tried everything to get BV working outbound. All worked fine until the BV change last week. I called BV and they changed me to sip gen with a new password. I stripped my Asterisk server to one phone on Zap/1 until I get this working. The same BV account works fine with a SPA-3000 so I don't suspect a firewall problem. I configured this once now I forgot what I did. Two Broadvoice accounts. Incoming is simple - just use the phone numbers. working system for months suddenly stopped today with Failed to authenticate on INVITE to
I am getting a log message of Failed to authenticate on INVITE to ... after months of a system working. I have changed nothing... What can cause this. I did some searching and tried setting in sip.conf (canreinvite to both yes and no - made no difference) by default I had no entry at all when this started happening. I am using sip phones, grandstream, cisco combination and all running sip.

Broadvoice problem
Since Thursday evening my asterisk box has been failing to register with broadvoice. I haven't changed any of my config files in the last week. Can anyone suggest anything? weird outbound problem through broadvoice (new)
Hello, Have a weird problem when using asterisk (1.0.6). There are certain numbers I cannot dial when using asterisk with my broadvoice account. No problems with inbound. With outbound calls, I can call some numbers (for example broadvoice customer support number) and unsuccessfully with some. SIP Incoming / Inbound not working for Broadvoice (Asterisk PBX 1.6.1.6)
