similar to: SIP Phone with headset

I'd like to get some feedback from users of USB headsets as to what they like/dislike about the unit they own (manufacturer/model number). I'm looking to buy some. Is there already a thread somewhere or a review (I tried to find one with no luck), discussing this topic? Any advantages/disadvantages to using a USB headset over a regular headset slaved off the internal sound card?

Anyone got any pointers on where to find USB handsets or headsets that can be used as the audio device on a softphone? Later..

I don't quite follow you? There are USB headsets that don't require a soundcard at all. They have a built in soundcard which (I suppose) could be better than the crap they build into most laptops. I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call.
