Max retries exceeded on call - seqno 102 (critical request)
I've seen other request info on this config before.
I've got the system up and running, Zap/Modem has been working for
several days, no errors/warnings.
Simply added info for broadvoice and I can dial into my system via the
remote, but dial out from my box renders the following:
I get one ring on the remote line, then on the console

Copying received and sent RTP packets due legal obligations
Hi,
I am facing a problem where for legal obligations (LI) I have
to copy/mirror/forward the RTP streams for some selected call
to an external address/port and I have not found a way to do
it with built-in functionality. Do I miss something?
The basic requirements are:
* Raw RTP (no transcoding, header and payload as is)
* Direction (did it arrive at asterisk or was it sent)
* End

[LLVMdev] Emotional responses to feedback
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to have the chance to
speak with a very successful businessman at the top of his
niche, and I asked him, "Clearly you have a formula for
success, what is it?"
He told me his secret. He said that every month they pull a
name out of a bucket, and that person must then prepare a 20
minute presentation explaining why one of their COMPETITOR'S

accented characters in isolinux
hey people
I'm new to the list and would like to say thanks to everyone that has
worked on syslinux/isolinux. It's one of those tools that everyone uses
at some stage but no-one ever really takes much notice of it - mainly
because *it just works*. So congrats ...
Now onto my question - I am customizing Fedora Core and I want to change
the isolinux boot.msg screen to display some

kernel update with yum - no grub entry
Hi people
I am new to this list - actually I am one of (probably) a few who are
jumping ship from WBEL. I feel like a bit of a scab jumping over at this
time - but we all make mistakes eh?
I have installed CentOS and ran 'yum update' and installed everything it
prompted me for. After a reboot, I realised I had booted into the same
original kernel-2.4.21-20.EL.c0smp and not the updated

Snow sockets
Greetings all. I am trying to run some stuff using the SNOW library on RH
EL3 intel x86_64 and I am running into this error:
Error in unserialize(node$con) : error reading from connection
I am using sockets (not preferred but I can't seem to get rpvm or Rmpi
either one to work on x86_64 for different reasons) and it seems to work
well when the jobs are small, but it seems that they are

Samba 2.0.6 and PAM problems on Linux
I have installed Samba 2.0.6 and everything is working wonderfully except
for some PAM authentication problems on my Debian potato samba server.
When a client tries to connect to a share on my server
I get lots of the following before I am ever asked for the password or
the connection times out, this take a few minutes to happen. (My username is
'servis', my machine is 'brian',

How to increase the printing speed
Hi Brian,
Thank you very much. Now I am able to the printer on Win95 box.
But I don't know why the printing is very slow. Infact the printer waits
for a while before taking the next page. Is there a way to increase the
printing speed. Another important thing is that I cannot use any printer
option in the printer panel on IRIX box. It says "printer type
unkown".Is ther a way

Security warning with XP clients and 3.0.2a PDC
Hi all,
I hope I don't make a prat of myself with my first posting...
I've got a 'niggle' with Windows XP Pro (SP1a) clients and 3.0.2a PDC
(Slackware 9.1, 2.4.22). Joing a domain, logging on etc is working
perfectly but I'm getting a 'File Download' security warning when I try and
open an executable that's stored on the server. If I agree to open the file

Grandstream Budgetone 101 channels don't disappear on hangup.
Hi there,
I'm having problems with the Grandstream Budgetone 101 on hangup -
"show channels"/"show channels concise" output is still showing the
call's channels as active.
The problem does not exist when I use SJPhone, so I'm assuming it isn't
an Asterisk configuration issue. Has anyone seen this, or better, does
anyone have a fix? :)
Thanks,
David.

It obviously isn't evident, or the wiki wouldn't have been written in
the way it is.

inline C/C++ in R: question and suggestion
This is a question and maybe an announcement.
We've been discussing in the group that it would be nice to have a
mechanism for something like "inline" C/C++ function calls in R. I do
not want to reinvent the wheel, therefore, if something like that
already exists, please give me a hint -- I could not find anything. If
not, here is a working solution, please criticise so I could
