TE405P V2 changes?
Hi I got the 2nd Gen firmware upgraded on the TE405P. I recompiled after putting in the upgraded board but did not change any conf, but the spans become active but will not come up. I guess I am missing something or are the any changes to the zaptel/libpri software that is required. I cannot find any info about this or does this new firmware only work with latest CVS. I am using 1.0.9 with

RESOLVED - TE405P vs. SoundCard problem (in reality - TE405P No Voice Problem)
Forget the sound card. It isn't related. The subject above should have read 'TE405P No Voice Problem' or something similar. It appears to be a zaptel timing issue, but I have found a workaround. For those of you just tuning in, here is the story: I have a CentOS/Intel 865 box currently running Asterisk 1.2.7.1 and zap 1.2.5, both compiled from the source available off the main

void your warranty and get a 3.3V/5V TE405P
http://www.mixdown.ca/~asterisk/ The card seems to be working fine. Don't expect warranty on it though. :-) Why? Because I wanted a quad-span T1 card which worked in the high-end systems I was intending it for, but that I could also keep a few in stock and if the system mainboard failed, pull the card an put it in a standard PC system. I didn't want to have to stock 3.3V and 5V

About TE405P Digium Card
Hi Everybody, Is there anyone who already uses Asterisk with TE405P card? Is this card going well with the old E400P or T400P drivers? Are there a lot of differences? In the card's data sheet writes this sentece: "Digium has designed the TE405P to be fully compatible with existing software applications..." Is this meaning the the old drivers are also OK for this card? Thank you

TE405P PRI B-channel resets
I understand from the archives that * does this occassionally, but I'm trying to figure out why. * didn't do this at all for two days, and then it's gone and done it 3 times in the past hour. It does not seem to be affecting calls, I'm just curious as to the reasoning behind the B channel resets and why they are so erratic. Regards, Andrew

Choosing between TE405P and TE410P
Is there anything to choose, in performance, between a TE405P and a TE410P? I understand the difference between the PCI bus voltages, and certainly don't intend to try Andrew's hacksaw operation :-). But if I choose the card first, and a compatible mobo second, does it make any difference which? Cheers Tony -- Tony Mountifield Work: tony@softins.co.uk - http://www.softins.co.uk Play:

TE405P hardware question
Does anyone know which physical interrupt line out of the four on the PCI backplane the TE405P uses? Or is it somehow configurable by hardware or software? I'm trying to diagnose a problem where the card generates no interrupts in one system, but is fine in another system. These systems are SBC-in-backplane type. My knowledge of how PCI works at the physical layer is rather limited, but I

[Asterisk-Dev] TE405P/410P (Quad-T1/E1) driver
Hello, I would like to know if FreeBSD has drivers for TE405P cards submitted to the ports. I have acquired a card and would really like to use it with FreeBSD. The wiki said the drivers havent been tested yet. Have there been any updates since then? regards Kavit _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Dev mailing list Asterisk-Dev@lists.digium.com

Xeon server board for TE405P
I would appreciate if people that have experience with stable Asterisk and TE405P cards installations on Xeon servers can share what kind of motherboards and chipset are using. I'm trying to configure a new Asterisk server with one TE405P on an Intel board with Xeon 3.0Ghz but not all Intel boards and chipsets works fine with these Digium boards. Thanks for your help !
