Recording outbound analog calls with X100P
List members, Is it possible to record outbound analog calls using an X100P? I was asked if I knew how to record all calls for a shop with 4 analog phones transparently to the end users. I thought Asterisk was a good fit for this and I envisioned using either Digium TDM400Ps or Sangoma A200s with 4 FXO and 4 FXS modules. The FXO modules would be connected to the existing PBX and the FXS

About X100P and TDM400P analog card in China
Hello. All. I am a bit new to asterisk, started from half a month ago. I am setting up a home asterisk server with analog card. I am using asterisk 1.4.27. At the moment, I bought a X100P card and installed it on my computer. I used it to connect my home phone line. For the moment, it works fine when dial in. Soon I noticed when I dial out through it to my mobile, it can't hang up

Digits being dropping when dialing from certain analog phones
FC2, Asterisk 1.0.0, Zaptel 1.0.0 TDM400P Port 1 FXS Port 4 FXO Standard analogue handset plugged in with pstn line. Problem: I have 2 analog phones that I use, when plugged directly into pstn line both phones work perfectly, dialing no issues. When I plug the handsets into the TDM400P, one works perfectly the other drops random numbers. Its like the tone is slightly different on the second

problems with X100P - Nochanneltyperegisteredfor 'Zap'
This may seem obvious or silly but have you tried using a different phone cord? A bad phone cord played havoc on a colleague of mine during initial config. Fro what you show as your output from ztcfg, you should have one channel configured successfully then. Your example shows you have the channel set to one so no problem there. If you run ZAP SHOW CHANNELS from the CLI what do you see? W

ANALOG FXO ZAPTEL & WCFXO & WCTDM module issues seen with intermittent analog lines
Hello, I have found a "bug", I think in the way TDM400P cards handle FXO interface disconnect/re-connect problems. Normally I do keep all the wires connected from my CO / PABX quite securely, but I had a need to re-route the cable from one side of the desk to another, and I simply disconnected the RJ-45 connector and plugged it back in. THIS PROMPTLY RESULTED IN VERY VERY SCRATCHY AUDIO

R analog of Matlab "eigs" function
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of an implementation of a function similar to "eigs" in Matlab (full description here: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/ref/eigs.html). This function differs from the standard "eigen" in that it computes a *few* eigenvectors for cases in which your matrix is very large and/or you don't need all the eigenvectors.

Busy Detection on Analog Lines
Hi, I'm having an issue with busy detection, the busy is not being detected. Asterisk: 1.6.2.13 DAHDI: 2.4.0 Chandahdi: busydetect=yes, busycount=2 Indications zone = us, with the modifications for my country for busy: 425Hz Pattern(0.2ms on, 0.2ms off, 0.2ms on, 0.6ms off) I compiled with BUSY DETECT DEBUG. I can see: [Feb 10 15:48:06] DEBUG[26968]: dsp.c:1276

Asterisk to Alcatel 4400 via PRI: analog extensions work - digital do not
Hi, I followed the how-to from http://www.alcatelunleashed.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=840 All works fine except for Asterisk->Alcatel calls. Actually, calls from Asterisk to analog extensions on the Alcatel work. However, calls from Aserisk to digital extensions on the Alcatel 4400 do NOT work. I get this error in the Asterisk log: -- Executing Dial("SIP/4053-0823dd48",

Analog lines dtmf problem
Hi I have a problem with dtmf recognition an analog lines connected to Sangoma A200. The digits (in most cases the first one) are doubled and so my IVR is useless. I tried to adjust the rxgain, toneduration and relxing the dtmf but nothing worked. I also noticed one thing it only happens during the background application: exten => s,1,Background(soundfile) exten => 111,1,Dial(SIP/111)

Slow hangup - Australia - analog - incoming calls
I have had to install a TDM800 in a site, as the telco has held off installing ISDN indefinitely.. It's all fine except for the fact that it takes ages to hang up the line (6 or more rings), and sometimes doesn't even bother. This is only on incoming calls - outgoing calls work perfectly. Is there any good tricks for a fast and accurate hangup detect in this situation?

analog to the matlab buffer function?
Hello! I am new to R. I could not find a function analogous to matlab's function buffer, which is used in signal processing. Is there such a function in R? What I need to do is as follows. If I apply the function to the vector c(1:5) for example with a window length 3 and overlapping 2, I need to get a matrix like this: 1 2 3 2 3 4 3 4 5 In matlab this is achieved with the function buffer.
