I am putting together my first *. I had it running with two other pc's
running xlite and setup voicemail and a couple of menus and submenus and had
that running well. I had order a couple of oem x100p cards from
digitnetworks.
I installed them as they said with their voicepet2.2.zip drivers and did the
modprobe on zaptel and wcfxo and then ran ztcfg -vv and got this:

Help Configuring TDM04B
Hi:
I had an fxo card from Digitnetworks and it was
working fine on my Asterisk box. I then replaced it
with TDM04B. I changed the zaptel and zapata to
include the four channels. When I run ztcfg, I get
configuration errors:

Channel 02: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)

Newbie X100P question
Hello,
I just bought a X100P from digitnetworks.
It is supposed to be a FXO card, but there are 2 rj-11 plug on the card.
One is labelled "phone" and the other "pstn". When i plug the "pstn" on
the wall and the "phone" on my analog phone, everything (incoming and
outgoing calls) works like before (without asterisk).
AFAIU, i should have an FXS card in my

digitnetworks card issues?
Hi,
I've purchased two x100p clones, and when I try accessing a line
from asterisk with something like this:
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(Zap/2/{$EXTEN})
(is that only supposed to put you on channel 2 or actually dial the #
for you?)
but I first hear noise, then a dial tone, but as soon as I start dialing
numbers I get feedback and noise, and the call doesn't go through.

Asterisk Can't Run
i installed Asterisk on linux FC3 box and i was able
to make third party calls from voipjet. I then
installed an X100P from digitnetworks and i was able
to execute modprobe zaptel and modprobe wcfxo and i
had to add some lines to the file: 50-udev.rules
before i was able to perform ztcfg without errors.
I had no problems running Asterisk before i installed
X100P, but this is not the case now.

E1 card for Asterisk
Hello Folks,
I'm trying to decide here between a few cards for connecting an Asterisk box to a
single E1 channel (either PRI or R2 signaling):
- Digium E100P: has been replaced by the TE110P below, but can still be had at
places like digitnetworks.com for $475, and I guess there's always a place for
good-olde-obsolete cards in the world as long as they work :-)
- Digium TE110P:

Experiance of shipping into the UK
While someone else is asking, has anybody any experience of
http://www.digitnetworks.com/
Are there any other suppliers people would recommend for somebody
importing to the UK?
Also has anybody in the UK imported any IAXy or OEM X100P - FXO PCI
Cards? I'm interested in knowing what sort of import duty they
attracted, if anybody has the TARIC classification number that would be
useful, I

Firefly repeats registering to * server
This may not strictly be an asterisk question, but not sure where else
to post ...
I have an Asterisk test server setup with two firefly clients, one on
the local lan and one on an external ip address. Both clients are setup
the same way and voice calls work fine. The asterisk console reports a
"Registered" message for the external client at about one minute
intervals but the

Locked version repos
Hello Everyone
I'm looking into the best way to have locked version repos for my CentOS
systems. The systems are all set up with Chef and have a couple
different recopies/roles. I'd like to have locked version repos for each
role with tested RPMs. Then perhaps quarterly apply any updates. It
would be nice to have something showing which updates are available for
these locked repos.

librarian-puppet vs git superproject?
Can anyone comment on their experiences with librarian-puppet or using git
superproject with per puppet module repositories? We are in the midst of
determining which route is optimal for our environment. It seems like using
git superprojects would mean one less new tool for everyone to learn. What
then would be the advantages of librarian-puppet?
Thanks,

Learn To build IVR
Dear All.
I'm very new to CT, but attracted by asterisk.
I plan to start learn to build IVR, based on asterisk.
Do I need FXO/FXS card to start building simple IVR box ?
Can I use OEM X100P - FXO PCI Card ( http://www.digitnetworks.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 ) to start build an IVR box ?
What is the cheapest FXO PCI card that can use with asterisk to build my first IVR box ?

puppet module install; absolute path?
I work on the Pulp Project (http://www.pulpproject.org/), and we are trying
to fully implement the forge API so we can create new repositories that can
be reached via a command like:
$ sudo puppet module install --module_repository
http://localhost/pulp/puppet/myforge/ someone/theirmodule
The problem I''ve encountered is that the install command includes
hard-coded absolute paths to

meetme application
Hi there,
I know this question is kind of stupid. But, I don't know anywhere
else to ask. I've received some answers when I asked about the need of having
a zaptel interface to make the meetme application work, that said that it was
better to have a real hardware then the zaptelrtc software modules.
So, my question is, would any of the following cards work with the meetme

Puppet Forge Repository format
Hi,
I am setting up a local forge for some weird political reasons. I came to
know that puppetlabs is working on such a feature.
But, in the meantime I wanted to try out setting up the repo and use
--modules_repository flag in "puppet module install: command. For that, I
need to mimic the puppet forge repo format (meaning the directory structure
of the modules). Can somebody point me
