Hello I'm running CentOS 5.3 with httpd-2.2.3-22.el5.centos.x86_64 and php-5.1.6-23.2.el5_3.x86_64. When the logrotate scripts run and send the HUP signal to httpd, the httpd process quits instead of reloading. With the latest version of Mongrel, will Mongrel reopen log files when sent a HUP signal? I would like to do a log rotate, but would prefer not to restart the mongrel instances as monit is watching after them all. monit is great for restarting the individual instances, but I would prefer not to do a restart all through monit. While trying to apply the low-latency kernel patches to our RHv9 Linux 2.4.20-31.9, the patches would not apply. In comparing one of the first patch files (lowlatency.h) to that already on the system, it would appear the low latency patches were already applied by RH. Hi, I'm new to the list so excuse me if this question has been asked before. Yesterday, I changed my rsyncd.conf file to add one more module to it. Then I sent a kill -HUP $pid signal to rsync running in daemon mode, but what gives? It just died so I had to start it up again.
