Icecast - Aug 2004 - icecast2 sig-HUP

Hi:

I noticed in an icecast2 log that a HUP will reload the server config.
This is a nice feature.  Are there any configuration options that won't
take effect with such a reload, or will it completely take effect?  If the
ports have changed, for example, will these change?

Yes, there are quite a few things that won't take effect. Notably, most of
the
things that affect sources will not do anything on current sources (so you'd
have to disconnect/reconnect the source), and new ports won't be opened.
Some
of those will likely get filled in over time.
