Another Asterisk Certification
What started out as a good thing for the community has veared it ugly
head and will come back to bite us in the ass. I give my respect to the
two companies that decided to put themselves 'out there' and attempted
to bring 'real world' certifications of knowledge in an area that is
unregulated, open, and currently has no measurement of how much one
person has over another.

Whether need to run CentOS Certification test suite to get the CentOS logo
Howdy,
I have searched related information on the CentOS website, and only get the
answer "Except for CentOS CD/DVD ISOs, you may not use CentOS logos on
merchandise without an individual agreement with the CentOS Project. We need
to approve the use of the logos and will require that you donate a
percentage of your total sales on items using the CentOS logos in this
manner".

RE: [Asterisk-biz] Asterisk training and certification :: AstriconTraining
I feel this is a slap in the face for those of us that have been here and I
don't feel I should HAVE to pay to be certified... I think me and MANY
others are about to walk out of the project over this. I have already
spoken with many people that are close to the project. You're hurting US
and our ability to make money. I still know the code better than most of
the people that will be

Ruby on Rails Certification
Is there any Ruby on Rails certification available for RoR developers?
I am thinking of getting into RoR development, but would like to get
certified if possible so I have something to stick on my resume.
Thanks

Here here, a bit of documentation online would cut down considerably the
traffic on this list asking how to questions.
Cmon sokal, put the questions and training material online.

FIPS 140-2 certification
Hello everyone!
I work for a company that uses OpenSSH to remotely support systems we've
sold. Since some of our clients are US Dept. of Defense hospitals, our
access to these servers needs to comply with a whole range of
requirements and standards. At this point it's looking like the SSH
daemon needs to be FIPS 140-2 compliant, and the only package that is
certified is F-Secure.

CE certification for Europe
Hello,
I'd like to ask if there are any news about CE certification of the E1
boards. I know that the T1 boards are FCC certified but I'd also like to
know what is the status for CE certification.
Thanks for any input,
Vlasis Hatzistavrou.

CentOS 7.x Russian certification
Dear all,
does anyone have any idea where to get a list of all CentOS 7.x versions
that are certified to be used within Russia.
My guess is that organizations, such as FSTEK, TR-CU declares those
versions/distributions of CentOS that are certified to be used with
commercial projects in Russia.
Anyone with some information on this, plase advice, I would be very
grateful.

Gorazd

Asterisk@home .05 release questions on setup.
Hello,
Great job on the Asterisk@home project. Looks great this new version is really nicer looking. But I have a few questions.
1) For the new web access http://localIP/maint how and where do I change the password.
2) Since I don't use the Amp section for setup the .conf files I use my own. How do I get the asterisk server running status up. I have it running and works but shows up as not

LSB Certification
Hey All,
Could someone provide a URL to a page that states what LSB level
RHEL/CentOS 6.4 is certified to.
I'm looking to download a driver:
http://www.openprinting.org/printer/Epson/Epson-WorkForce_1100
They offer a driver for LSB 3.1 or LSB 3.2. I'm hoping that one of
those applies to CentOS 6.4.

Sip device not login or register calls to that device go to busy voicemail not un-available
I feel this is in error some place. If I call a sip device that is not registered or not connected at the time. Asterisk will send that call to voicemail to busy not unavailable. Is there a way to correct this?

Wine certification and corporate cooperation
Is there an effort to produce a wine certification? A badge/sticker that can be placed on a product to say "also runs on Linux using wine"
Or perhaps, where the OS badges are placed a little tux and glass of wine.
This would give companies an easy way to get there app running on Linux and provide a reason for them to contribute to Wine.
Perhaps more important even than the badge would
