fritz pci / chan_capi / australia setup
Hi * Fans, I have some fritz cards now, followed instructions from stuart hirsts email of Jun 28: -> Thanks for your info but I think I have it working at last. Below are the steps I took which might help others. 1) Download the PCI AVM drivers from ftp://ftp.avm.de/cardware 2) Download the Chan_capi from http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk/ 3) tar -xvzf fcpci-suse8.0-03.09.10.tar.gz which

Chan_Capi Down
Hi all, * was running ... I have a WT405P and an AVM C4 with chan_capi 0.3.4a Today chan_capi stopped working, without any changings at the system. It seems, that not * is the reason, because isdn-log also shows no calls. If I try to call * from outside via capi, I only get a busy. That is the try from inside to outside: stern01*CLI> -- data = @89930:0107901723168212 -- capi

chan_capi and DDI (Anlagenanschluss)
Hi all ! We have 3 NTBAs which are all going to our existing PBX. Our areacode is 06003 and our DDI enabled number 9141. I want to exchange that PBX with Asterisk, but still struggle to get it working. Both call are going through the same extension. Here?s 2 log files, one with a national number and

Anyone using National ISDN (NI-1) BRI under Linux?
I have a North American BRI configured as National ISDN (NI-1) on an SBC (Nortel?) switch. SBC calls this "FastTrak ISDN", and it's surprisingly inexpensive -- less than two POTS lines. I've been trying to find an inexpensive PCI interface solution to connect this to Asterisk as voice lines. I prefer ISDN BRI over POTS lines because of the improved signalling, fast dialing,

Réf. : Re: Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
I tried that but it still doesn't work... I think I don't have the correct approach. Have I to install any ISDN drivers (=modules ?) BEFORE dealing with CAPI ? If yes, why shouldn't I use the hisax drivers (which are kernel ones) instead of fcpci drivers (which doesn't seems to work, by the way...) And finally, how is it possible to link the two modules together? As you can see,

isdn4linux, NETjet, chan_modem help needed
I'm trying to get a basic Asterisk configuration together for ISDN incoming / outgoing calls. I have two Cisco 7905g phones working (at least talking to each other) and have purchased a NETjet-S PCI ISDN card for routing calls to / from ISDN. Struggling with ISDN4Linux and Asterisk config
The card is an ASUSCOM ISDNLink PCI (passive) and the circuit is from Qwest (in the US). I will be using this circuit only for voice (I'm doing this because of the poor quality of my POTS lines). I've compiled Hisax (as a module) into my 2.4.25 kernel, and with 'modprobe hisax type=35 protocol=4 id=hisax' I get the following: Apr 7 10:34:24 dev kernel: HiSax: Linux Driver for

using a Gigaset SX440isdn on a Diva 4BRI ?
Hello, I just received a couple SX440isdn phones and was wondering if they can be plugged into a Diva 4BRI port in NT mode and work with asterisk+chan_capi? I know they probably work fine with mutliHFC cards with either bristuff of chan_misdn but since I have some spare Divas, I was curious about their potential as phone ports. The Diva's 3 and 4 ports are already set to NT mode at boot

(euro)ISDN: complete silence / can't hear a word.
Hello, I just got my isdn-card working together with i4l and asterisk. Everything seems to be working fine: I can accept calls coming from the outside and I can dial out. Even setting the msn works like charm but my problem is that I cannot hear a word. There's complete silence in both directions. Any idea what could be the cause? Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
Hi, First, here is my config: Kernel version 2.4.25 on a Fedora distro, Asterisk and a Fritz! Isdn PCI Card (v2). I try to make the CAPI drivers deal with Asterisk but I can't try to figure out to get of this issue. As I see, Fritz modules are integrated with the kernel, so I directly loaded the 'hisax_fcpcipnp' module from it. I install also Capi modules by downloading archives of the

[Fwd: Eicon Diva 2.01 S/T PCI quality problems]
Hi all, I'm experimenting with Asterisk on linux using an Eicon Diva 2.01 S/T PCI card. I'd set up the card using the hisax driver and isdn4linux (titled as "Old ISDN4Linux (obsolete)" in the 2.6.12 kernel. I can make SIP calls and outgoing phone calls as well, but gathered a few problems on my way: 1. Plain SIP calls using softphones on windows clients work fine not counting
