unable to compile testcpuid.c in spandsp in x86_64
Steven Hi,
I'm unable to compile testcpuid.c with the __x86_64__ architecture
(Athlon 64 processor). The messages are:

Is it safe to ignore this module?

spandsp-0.0.2pre6
Just wondering if anyone else has managed to successfully compile
spandsp-0.0.2pre6...
I'm assuming it is working for most people, else it probably wouldn't
have been released, and/or, other people would have had more to say
about it...
In any case, these are the errors I am getting while doing a make:
if /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.

spandsp and app_rxfax (alternative topic: t38modem)
Dear gods of the PBX (flattery works here, right?) -
I've been pulling my hair out trying to get Asterisk to receive and
decode a fax using spandsp and app_rxfax. It seems like it should be
working. The fax machine on the other end connects and Asterisk reports
a fax coming in. But when it's done all I have is a 2 or 3 KB TIF (see
attachment).
The console activity looks completely

SIP tunnel
Hello,
I have the following situation: A firewall is blocking all SIP and RTP
traffic in the side of some of my clients. My clients cannot change settings
of the firewall.
I need to solve this problem and I need some help from you.
I have this idea: implement a SIP user agent which does not use well known
SIP ports (uses http port 80 for example) and use other ports that are not
blocked

spandsp tiff debian question
oops. sent this last night - I was getting this list on an alias that I didn't
send from.
Hello,
I am attempting to setup spandsp on debian-unstable-2.6.7-recent-HEAD. Gnome
requires libtiff3g 3.6.1-1. I downloaded libtiff 3.5.7 and 3.6.0 and was
able to install 3.5.7,spandsp, and reinstall asterisk. A newer Makefile.patch
was needed, then I switched a few lines in the Makefile (from

Billing Fun - anybody know where to get a NPA/NXX db?
Hello;
I've been playing with a nifty Open Source java based report writer
called Datavision (datavision.sourceforge.net) and I've managed to write
enough logic to calculate phone bills at different rates from the MySQL
cdr's. (cdr_addon_mysql) Eventually I want to have sets of rate
structures for each user of the system - so I can bill client A at 3
cents a minute and client B at 2

How to read installed spandsp version ?
Hello,
On my Lenny system, I've got libspandsp.a, libspandsp.la files and so on
present in /usr/lib.
How could I write a shell script that would read among those files and tell
"installed spandsp is version 0.0.4pre12 or version 0.0.6pre3" ?
This is something autoconf tools must be able to do but I know how to write
any line of code with these tools.
While at it, how is Asterisk

CDR changes in 1.4.3?
Hello all:
I upgraded to 1.4.3 last night and use MySQL for CDR.
I have noticed that 1.4.3 seems to log a lot of "crap" to CDR that
1.4.2 did not. I use a few macros in my dialplan to handle outgoing
calls (lcr type stuff) and in addition to the proper CDR for the call
itself I also have records to 's' in the same dest-context and entries
to 's' in the default context.

[LLVMdev] undef PPC
Were the patches to insert some "#undef PPC" lines ever committed? They
appeared on the commit list, but the changes don't seem to be in trunk.
Specifically, I'm referring to:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.compilers.llvm.cvs/99549
I can confirm that these are necessary for building on PPC Linux systems
(at least the ones to which I have access).

I don't think it might be obvious. I am dubious in my own style.

spandsp app_rxfax - the sending software loops
Hi,
After a hiatus of several months, I decided to try spandsp again
because it is such an excellent addition to asterisk. Using 1.0.3 and
spandsp 0.0.1k.
When I send a fax from a laptop software fax that works with every
machine I've ever had to fax to, I get something like this as staus
return from the fax sending software:
- Getting Local ID
- Getting Parameters
and it loops like this

Local Outbound Calls on PRI
I'm in the process of turning up a PRI in one of my markets and have
run into a problem I have never seen before. I am unable to place a
local outgoing call. Long Distance over the same PRI works fine.
When I attempt to place a local call using the PRI I see Asterisk
attempt to dial, and am greeted with a busy signal. This signal
appears to originate on the telco's switch.
