Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines ( UK)
You should be able to get ISDN though. I think BT provide this anywhere. Otherwise your solution will be a Primary rate (ISDN30) with 8 channels.

UK experts only. BT Outgoing caller ID not showing
Hi
Just moved offices in the UK and moved our Asterisk box from old one to new
one. Using idefisk softphones, Junghanns quadbri card for ISDN 2e interfaces.
At both offices we had one standard number and a DDI range, routed with
Asterisk.
We'd set up the configuration so each idefisk set its own caller ID which then
got sent by the extensions.conf script. Worked fine at old place but in

AGI and forking
Hi. I just want to make sure I understand this before doing something that
might break things spectacularly for our users and customers :)
We are using Asterisk 1.6.2.9 and my programming language of choice is Perl.
I want, when a call comes in on someone's DDI number (which the person who
dialled it can only possibly have obtained by dialling 1471 after we called
them), to be able to

porting numbers in UK telewest/bt/adept
A client used to use BT isdn30 and ported the numbers to telewest
several years ago.
Now, the client moved to adept telecom. I *think* adept resells BT
products. We got new numbers from adept (bt?) and the old pbx on the
telewest lines forwards the calls to the new numbers.
On the adept line I got a digium card in an opteron supermicro server.
ztcfg gives me over 99.99 pretty much all the time.

Info on UK ISDN30e?
Hi :)
My employer is looking to move a call centre to a new office, and has
been increasingly frustrated with their legacy PBX (call-logging
licensing and hardware upgrade costs). So I've stepped forth as the
Open Source Pedant and suggested Asterisk so we can do all our own
CallerID / call logging / analyses, and make use of IP Phones /
teleworking, etc.
The problem begins in that I only

Extending Avaya IP Office ISDN30e with Asterisk
Hi All,
Has anyone hooked up * as an extension/trunk of an Avaya system that has
around 2 ISDN30e's.
Trying to add 100 extensions to one of our systems, but not sure where to
start reading.
Thanks.

Haven't got a clue ...
On how to even search for this "feature" as I have no idea on what it can
be.
I've got a meridian linked to * (by EuroISDN) which is linked to a ISDN30.
I can make calls from the meridian, and receive calls into the meridian.
Great stuff.
However, if someone dials an invalid number, then instead of hearing a
"three tone", the line just drops and goes dead. The console

RDNIS and asterisk
I have a couple of numbers that are diverted to a number that is
conected to an isdn30 card, running asterisk 1.4.
eg.
123456 => 22334455
654321 => 22334455
What I would like to know is the number of the orginal number dialled
(123456 or 654321). I thought that RDNIS was the answer, but it is
always coming up blank.
When I did a debug on the pri span, I saw the following message

No audio on ISDN PRI calls
Hello,
I have a Sangoma A101 connected to an ISDN30 (E1 in the UK) with some
Snom 300 and Idefisk softphones.
I can do SIP and IAX2 calls just fine, however I cant get any audio in
either direction on the Zap channels. When I call in or dial out over
the ISDN30 (UK E1) I can see the call answered/placed
on the CLI and then silence follows.
I've been provisioned 25 out of the 31 channels only

BT - ISDN30 - International Calls not working, everything else is fine :(
Dear All,
Thank you for taking the time to read this post - I am *confused!* as to why my asterisk setup does not work as it should. I have an ISDN 30 connection for telephony, a Sangoma card, and asterisk installed.
Incoming calls, and outgoing calls work 100%. Making an international call, results in silence, or the error message all circuits are busy

ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all,
does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to
order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI
numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if
Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and
I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card.
Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

MS Access and RAID
Hi,
We have been having a few problems with a M$ Access DB held on a Samba server
Samba version: samba-2.2.4-2N1
We have rebuilt a new server, and transferred the database over to the new
box, along with word/excel docs etc. Everything is working fine, except the
access database, which is running very very slowly (can be over a minute to
open a record).
Details are a little sketchy, but it

ZapBarge a PRI DDI
I'm using a TE405p with all four spans enabled, two configured as pri_cpe
and two as pri_net, the asterisk is sitting between our ISDN (UK BT
EuroISDN30) and our phone system. We have 200 DDI numbers on the ISDN's and
I need to give one of our clients dial-in access to be able to monitor calls
we handle on their behalf. I've got ZapBarge working but I need to restrict

Multiple DDI & Hunting on Analog Lines (UK)
Hi everyone,
I want to get multiple DDI's and hunting across those DDI's in case one of the lines is busy using analog phone lines. The system is for a large house so I want 3 x PSTN lines. 3 x DDI's and the ability for those DDI's to be presented across all three PSTN lines.
BT say you can't have more than one DDI number associated with a PSTN line and that you can't

DASS2 support
My employer wants to use Asterisk, but the E1 circuit providing the current
phone system is DASS2 rather than ISDN30. Converting the E1 to ISDN30 is not
a practical proposition at this time as it'd stop the legacy phone system
from working.
Is there any sort of hardware support for DASS2? I speculate that the E100P
should be able to deal with the electrical side of it, but I'm unsure of

Direct Dial In - second try
Hi all,
I have an asterisk-server (cvs-head from august) connected to a
carrier's switch (DMS/Euroisdn) via a te410p, and I am having problems
with DDI (standard 'official pstn' number plus extra digits for
'internal' use)
Basically, when the entire number (including the extra digits) is
dialled via a redial or a programmed key, I see the entire called party
number (including
