Hi all, For a top quality setup, I will need to install high quality VoIP switches with QoS and PoE. My potential customer should not have any problem with call quality. Experienced folks, Please advice me what switches to install and at what price. I may need it for upto 100 phones. What else should I consider so that phones work without problem along with the computers on the same network?

Has anyone had any experience using FXO and FXS gateways to extend legacy PBX extensions to remote users? I have a customer who needs to do this, but wants seamless, two way communication, with a SIP server and without the need for 2-stage dialing. I'm trying to get a MP-114 FXS/FXO gateway working with Asterisk. It registers fine and I can call between the MP-114 and other extensions, but I'm not having much luck with the FXO ports. syslog shows the problem to be in the MP-114 configuration. Can anyone help?

Hello All, I saw an add in my latest Linux Journal advertising Sangoma's new "AA series" of FXO/FXS analog cards with on-board echo cancellation, but I can't find any information at all on them. Even the link given in the advertisement is a dead end as far as I can tell. Anybody else seen/heard anything about this? -Seth

Hi: I had an fxo card from Digitnetworks and it was working fine on my Asterisk box. I then replaced it with TDM04B. I changed the zaptel and zapata to include the four channels. When I run ztcfg, I get configuration errors: Channel map: Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01) Channel 02: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02) Channel 03: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 03) Channel 04:

Anyone have any experience with the Rhino T1 channel bank? It looks very cost effective at around $1300 for 24 lines but I haven't seen it mentioned on the Asterisk list yet.

I have been struggling with this issue for about a year now. There were just too many IP phones to choose from at all sorts of price points and not enough information about any of them.
