Re TrixBox
Hey Guys
We are replacing a BM4 with a trixbox (asterisk) virtual numbers as the
customer wants to move the callcentre.
They are asking for an equiv to the ipview
I gather HUD may be or the panel view
The problem is that we need to see
(a) total calls in the queue
(b) calls for specific DID - How can you give 1 DID preference to another
DID
ie
DID 61740410001 = Fred Electrical

R2D2 VOIP Kubuntu 8.4 Ekiga, Ekiga.net voice conference
I'm having a problem getting a good clear output sidnal from Ekiga to a
VOIP conference call using the Ekiga.net free conference call system.
I'm told that each time I speak, my voice is clear & intelligible for
about .5 - 2 seconds, but then it starts to be garbled, sounding like
the sounds R2D2 makes.
I've used 2 or three mic/headsets - two plug into my audio I/O sockets

Controlling Cisco 7960 Ringtone from Asterisk
I'm trying to change the ring tone on my 7960 from the dialplan. I've
tried the example on the wiki but it doesn't seem to work. Something like:
exten => 3010,1,SetVar(ALERT_INFO=<Bellcore-dr1>) ; selects Ringer
exten => 3010,2,Dial(SIP/3010,15)
I'm not sure what the Bellcore-dr1 ringer is supposed to be. I've tried
replacing ALERT_INFO with another ring tone

Error in minimizing an integrand using optim
Hi,
Am not sure if my code itself is correct. Here's what am trying to do:
Minimize integration of a function of gaussian distributed variable 'x' over
the interval qnorm(0.999) to Inf by changing value of parameter 'mu'. mu is
the shift in mean of 'x'.
Code:
# x follows gaussian distribution
# fx2 to be minimized by changing values of mu

Problems with Upgrade from Courier
I inherited a server from a previous employee. The server crashed so it was
time to move everything over to another server. We have a web mail site and
I installed everything running dovecot, postfix and roundcube. After I
installed it, everything worked great when I created a new user. The new
user could send and receive emails with no issues. I then copied the home

cluster analysis labels for dendrogram
Hi,
I am clustering data based on three numeric variables. I have a fourth
variable that is categorical (site) which I would like to use to label the
leaves of my dendrogram, so I can see how the different sites are grouped
throughout the tree, but I do NOT want to use this variable in the cluster
analysis itself. Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks,
Samantha

Displaying smooth bases - mgcv package
Dear all,
for demonstration purposes I want to display the basis functions used by a
thin plate regression spline in a gamm model. I've been searching the help
files, but I can't really figure out how to get the plots of the basis
functions. Anybody an idea?
Some toy code :
require(mgcv)
require(nlme)
x1 <- 1:1000
x2 <- runif(1000,10,500)
fx1 <- -4*sin(x1/50)
fx2 <-

Why is my data always imported as a list?
Hi,
I am a relatively new to R. So, this is probably a really basic issue that
I keep hitting.
I read my data into R using the read.csv command:
x = rep("numeric", 3)
CB_un=read.csv("Corn_Belt_unirr.csv", header=TRUE, colClasses=c("factor",
x))
# I have clearly told R that I have one factor variable and 3 numeric
variables in this table.
#but if I try to do

RE: AVM A1 (OLD) CARD
I have an old A1 ISDN card that we used to use in the mid 1990's for the
delivery of data to our ISP
I have seen some users have been using them, with respect to doing web
searches.
Can someone please let me know what drivers I require to use this card under
debian and with asterix,
and what the limitations are of using this card. I dont want to make calls
but do inbound using it.

Tracking time-varying objects with the DLM package (dynamic linear models in R)
Hello all,
I am working with the dlm package, specifcially doing a dlm multivariate Y
linear regression using
dlmModReg and dlmFilter and dlmSmooth...
I have altereted the inputs into dlmModReg to make them time-varying using
JFF, JW etc.
How do I track the results of the time varying system matrices?
For example what I am really interested in is JW - my system variance matrix

Random slopes in lmer
Hi
I want to extract the random slopes from a lmer (I am doing a random regression), but are the answers obtained from ranef or coef?
My model is: mod1<-lmer(B~ A +(A|bird), family=quasibinomial)
And I want to obtain a slope for each individual bird but am not sure which output I need and can't find the answer anywhere.
Thanks

Replicate weights in R?
Hello everyone! I am analyzing a public use dataset which has both basic
weights and replicated weights. I have found that only Stata seems to work
with replicate weights but I would rather use R. Does anyone know if R can
use replicate weights?
If this is possible, could someone share some links and/or code for
performing this action. Thank you for your time.
