queue_log question: which endpoint was connected?
Hello list,
as I'm writing a little perl parser for queue_log analysis, I'd like to
know *which* telephone answered a specific queue call. Unfortunately
app_queue only logs the call id but does not log the call end point. This
is okay for SIP endpoints, because their call id is something like
SIP/endpointname-1234 so you can reasonably understand who was on
answering, but for

AGENTDUMP lines
Hello,
I sometimes find AGENTDUMP rows on the queue_log; anybody knows what do
they mean?
Thanks

queue stats
Hello all,
I need to write a queue_log parser that is going to implement more or less
the functionalities described here
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-July/014965.html
of course not everything from scratch, but this is where I'd like it to go.
I am looking for
- previous work (maybe it's ready somewhere and I've never heard of it)
- suggestions

xc-ast 0.8.0 is out
Hello list,
I am glad to announce that XC-AST version 0.8.0 is out today.
This version introduces an importante new feature: you can now listen -
using your browser - to calls that have been previously monitored. This
way you can click on a call and listen to the actual conversation, and see
all user, length and waiting time information of the call, all in one
place.
You should set up

asterisk based bbs
hello list,
I was wondering: anybody ever wrote an asterisk based bbs? not a bbs about
asterisk, but a vocal bbs that runs on asterisk, so that people can call,
hear the discussion of the day, leave messages, etc.
it seems a rather basic application to me though I cannot find much about.
thanks

ZyXEL P2000W - working conf example
(I posted this note on
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-ZyXEL+P2000W+configuration too)
I tried to put together comments that were asked for on the P2000W.
These configs seem to work fine for a ZyXEL P2000W, thanks to Giles Scott
for getting me started with it.
DTMF keys work fine and are "read" correctly by Asterisk.
It's important that you upgrade your phone to a modern version

Receiving queue urls
Hello list,
I'd like to use the Send URL function in the Queue command, so that when
an agent answers a call s/he sees the browser opening with a page having
pertinent information. Anybody can tell me of a soft phone supporting this
feature under Windows? I tried with SJPhone with no success.
Thanks

non blind call transfers
Hello list,
I was looking for a way to implement non-blind call transfers with *, i.e.
the usual behaviour of most PBXs when pressing the flash button:
- A and B are talking
- A pushes flash
- A is free to compose a new number
- B hears music on hold
- A's call is answered by C
- A hangs up
- B and C are in conversation
As much as I can understand, * only supports blind transfers, where if

IAXTEL is dead/dying?
I didn't get any response at all to my last "request for status" on
IAXTEL.
So, when this happens, I attribute it to one of a number of things:
1. No-one knows.
2. No-one cares.
3. Everyone knows, but are too busy to reply.
At any rate, my investigative side kicks in and I began searching thru
the digest's I've gotten, looking for references to IAXTEL. Mostly it is

Hi,
Anyone have any experience with either of these, I 'd appreciate some
feedback? Plus it seems pretty easy to steal a connection with this.

Agent in multiple queues?
Hi,
What do I need to do to put an agent into two queues? The idea being
that the agent will get the call no matter which queue it comes into?

queue issue
Hi,
I have several queues configured at my call center for different support levels.
Today, something weird happened:
- A client called queue 1 and was answered by an agent
- The agent transferred the call to an user (not a queue), by dialing the atxtransfer (1) key defined in features.conf
- The user transferred the client to another Queue, by using the second channel and the XFer key of her

Centos 5.2 ,5.3 and GFS2
Hello,
I will create a Xen cluster and using GFS2 (with conga, ...) to create
a new Xen cluster.
I know that GFS2 is prod ready since RHEL 5.3.
Do you know whent Centos 5.3 will be ready ?
Can I install my GFS2 FS with centos 5.2 and then "simply" upgrade to
5.3 without reinstallation ?
