Dialplan question
First, here's what I want to do / what I have:
X100P and a Quicknet PhoneJack.
I want to be able to pick up the analog phone (connected to the phonejack)
and dial another computer (with the same hardware) or just make a regular
phone call which will be decided by asterisk depending on the phone number
dialed. I know that this won't be taking full advantage of asterisk, but
I'm

Update: Welltech Wellgate 3504A registration problem
Recently, there're some posts about registration problems with this
gateway. These are my observations using the latest firmware version 107a.
a) The gateway will register all 4 ports if you're not using password.
b) If using password, the gateway will only register the 1st port correctly.
For the record, the 2-port 3502 doesn't exhibit this behavior.
FYI.

Re: Re: how to realize "MLPPP LFI" on linux
Hi,Andy
Thank your very much!
For the MLPPP LFI,I found that in Cisco configuration,it use "ppp multilink;ppp multilink fragmentation;ppp multilink fragment-delay 20;ppp multilink interleave " command to enable MLPPP LFI.So I think just realizing the same function on my linux router would be fine. But I got no idea how to do this on linux. So is there anything with iproute2?Would you

Load Balance Outbound AND Inbound Internet Traffic to one location over multiple links
I''ve read through the nano documentation, and it says that it wont
handle scenarios where the main traffic is input. Also, I''ve read
through the linuxvirtualserver documentation, and i dont think that
applies to me either, as that set up intercepts traffic and
manipulates the final destination IP and port for the traffic.
What I would like to do is
1) from the ISP standpoint,

using NUT on centos 5
Hi!
Trying to set up NUT on Centos 5 to monitor a CyberPower 1500AVR UPS.
There seem to be many documents, all of which seem to be not fully consistent
with each other, and most of them aren't up to date.
I'm guessing I should be using udev rather than hal, but I'm somewhat
stumped on how to figure out what device it should be monitoring. there
are a bunch of udev rules installed

NUT problem
A little while ago I changed my UPS to Leibert and installed NUT. Everything
worked as expected. Today I tried to use the MultiLink Viewer icon from the
desktop, but it simply accepted the root password without apparently doing
anything. I can run the viewer directly (as root) from a file manager.
The icon is owned by me, but the application is set to run as root.
I suspect that the

libata and PMP (Port Multiplier) support in CentOS
I'm looking at buying a NORCO DS-1220 and it comes with a NORCO 4618
PCI-X card (4 port eSATA, with a port multiplier on the card or the
chassis). I've been trying to pin down whether or not CentOS will see
all 12 drives, and I haven't seen anything that is definitive. I see
that the kernel module sata_sil24 supports the SiI3124 chip on the NORCO
4618 card, but I haven't found

Liebert PSI 1440 support
Hi,
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to interact with the above UPS using
its USB/HID interface and have come to the conclusion that it's not
going to be as "easy" as I'd first thought :(
My attempts have all been on FreeBSD-5 (kernel as of today) using NUT
v2.0.2 and fiddling with newhidups -- I tried the simple approach of
adding the IDs and "seeing what

Liebert ESP-II protocol
I see there has been some Liebert work here recently. I have a Liebert
UPS that has no USB, just RS-232. I reverse engineered the ESP-II
protocol, at least as far as normal MultiLink monitoring goes, which was
pretty simple. The protocol provides a table of parameter types and
index ranges. So, I can read and (if I dare) write the parameter tables.
We might be able to share info between

[LLVMdev] Seg faulting on vector ops
Hola LLVMers,
I'm looking to make use of the vectorization primitives in the Intel
chip with the code we generate from LLVM and so I've started
experimenting with it. What is the state of the machine code generated
for vectors? In my tinkering, I seem to be getting some wonky machine
instructions, but I'm most likely just doing something wrong and I'm
hoping you can set me in

Simplest OS possible?
What is the simplest OS I can install in Xen, preferably Linux based, and
don''t tell me MS-DOS :). I have installed a minimal version of Fedora, but I
want something that is even less cluttered.
I have looked at Minix, but it is not fully supported. I need something
small, lightweight (doesn''t have to be multi-threaded or anything), that
will run small C and Assembler programs
