similar to: Diva Server PRI/E1-30

Hi, I would like to set up a high density FAX/PBX server, am looking at using Eicon Diva E1 card with Asterisk and Hylafax sharing channels, is this possible. I know Extensions can be reserved for voice OR fax with the combination of chan_capi used for * voice, capi4hylafax on fax but then channels must be dedicated rather than shared ie. would like to be able to answer voice/fax on same DID.

I'm experiencing a very unusual problem with a few of my sipuras. They keep over heating after minimal usage. I unplug them and let them sit for 15 minutes and it starts working fine. The other way around is that I put a fan on it or something to keep it cooling. Has anyone else experienced this or are they just defective units? Regards, Mohammed Salim EZZI Telecom, Inc.

Hi everybody, can anyone has experiences with faxmail. I mean something like voicemail. so selected extensions have independent box for incoming faxes and these faxes are forwarded to selected e-mail. or is there anybody who try to print faxes directly from asterisk. You know, asterisk box connected to printer, and incoming fax was proceseed as printer job. Thanks for help.

Hello, I can't have asterisk working without echo when I place a call from IP phone (SIP or H323) to a PSTN Phone. The called number as no problem with echo but there is a very audible echo in the SIP phone. This situation occurs either when connected with ISDN card thru i4linux driver and with my openline card from voicetronix. Do you have any suggestion fo that? Regards, Daniel ANDRE

I've noticed the AVM cards should work well here, however I've found the reseller here has no website, is listed in Yellow pages as management consultants (??) and when I called quoted almost $400. Does anyone know where I can get the AVMs in Australia a bit cheaper or another card (not the Netjet) that works with Asterisk.

Hi, I'm in big trouble I've got two serwers with Asterisk 1.03 both serwer with 2 ISDN cards. When I call isdn server card and then choose other msn (disa) I can make connection with other phone (I've got standard ISDN PBX). But echos are horrible. Hello all, I am trying to set up asterisk and hylafax to send and receibe fax. The machine is connected to the PSTN is an Eicon Diva BRI (1 BRI port).
